a day in the life: what you’ll do
Design, build, operate, and optimize the data pipelines, data mapping and data models that run our marketing platforms with a special focus on the Customer Data Platforms. Augment CDP capabilities with new data sets and new data integrations to enhance omnichannel view of guest and omni purchase history while following best practices from staff engineer and solution architect. Guide other CDP Data engineers on best practices with regards to code deployment and optimization of code performance while minimizing utilization and cost implication. Enhance and maintain existing features by improving and scaling supporting code, ensuring ongoing production support. Implement new technology tools and frameworks where/when needed. Interface with global CDP vendors and internal teams. Oversee, participate in, and manage production deployments. Coordinate recovery from incidents utilizing well defined operational procedures, tools, and efficient communication across internal and external stakeholders. Own reliability strategy and execution for a defined set of production systems. Facilitate an Engineering Community of Practice for your product(s) or areas of expertise.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
qualifications
Must have a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 8 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience with Information Technology.
Of the required experience, must have 6 years of experience in one of the following:
• Customer analytics implementation, production support, and enhancement; or
• Customer data management implementation, production support, and enhancement.
Of the required experience, must have 6 years of experience in each of the following (which may be gained concurrently):
• Working with agile project delivery methodologies;
• Experience in building and working with Customer Data Platforms; and
• Experience in building data warehouse and customer 360 platform using cloud technologies.
Of the required experience must have 6 years of experience in each of the following technologies (which may be gained concurrently):
• Audience management experience using DMPs;
• Development in SQL; and
• Data management services including data lake or Power BI.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following (which may be gained concurrently):
• Building data pipelines using tools and services using cloud technologies (Snowflake, GCP, AWS or similar);
• Python or PySpark; and,
• CI/CD principles.

compensation and benefits package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $190,486.00 - $210,486.00 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
