about this team

The Senior Supply Chain Strategy Manager helps drive supply chain strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of lululemon’s Global Supply Chain operations. This role requires a strong focus on strategy, planning, governance, and strategic project execution. 

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Own multi‑workstream, enterprise‑level initiatives; shape long‑range strategy and large transformation programs
  • Frame highly complex, cross‑functional problems; lead advanced modeling, scenario planning, and strategic synthesis for senior leadership
  • Oversee multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously; executes with discipline; manages timelines and deliverables
  • Influence senior leaders; drive alignment across diverse and sometimes competing executive stakeholders
  • Craft executive‑level narratives that shape enterprise decisions; distills high‑complexity strategy into simple, compelling stories for senior leadership
  • Demonstrate deep enterprise supply chain fluency; connects end‑to‑end supply chain to corporate strategy, profit, and growth levers

 

core responsibilities

  • Lead the development of long-term, comprehensive, Supply Chain strategies to align with the company’s overall business and growth objectives
  • Assess and identify Supply Chain capabilities to drive cost efficiency, operational excellence, and competitive differentiation
  • Integrate Supply Chain strategies with broader enterprise-level initiatives, ensuring alignment with cross-functional goals
  • Lead cost-benefit analyses to evaluate and prioritize investments in capabilities, technologies, and processes
  • Drive operating model transformation initiatives, including diagnosing current organizational structures and processes and developing and implementing future-state recommendations in collaboration with People and Culture (P&C)
  • Combine data-driven insights with qualitative research, such as stakeholder feedback and market trends, to inform strategic decisions
  • Leverage advanced financial modeling, scenario planning, and data analysis tools to assess Supply Chain opportunities and risks
  • Partner with leadership and strategic planning partners across the enterprise to ensure seamless integration of Supply Chain initiatives into broader business objectives
  • Facilitate cross-department workshops to ensure a unified approach to strategy and planning
  • Drive the annual operating plan process for supply chain
  • Lead business case development for strategic Supply Chain investments
  • Define and prioritize the roadmap for future Supply Chain capabilities
  • Oversee the transition of strategies into actionable initiatives, collaborating with operational leaders for discovery and implementation
  • Stay informed of emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in the apparel retail and supply chain industries

 

qualifications

  • B.A./B.S. in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field required; MBA or Master’s degree strongly preferred
  • 10+ years in consulting, supply chain, strategic operations, or large‑scale transformation
  • Proven track record leading cross‑functional strategic initiatives with measurable impact
  • Experience driving global and high‑complexity transformations.
  • Advanced analytics, modeling, scenario planning expertise; uses insights to guide senior‑level decisions
  • Experience framing highly complex strategic questions; shapes long‑range strategies; driving alignment at executive level
  • Executive‑level communication — crafts compelling narratives; distills high‑complexity insights into simple, decision‑ready recommendations
  • Skilled in influencing senior leaders through clear, strategic storytelling and high‑stakes presentations

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $130,800-171,700 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
