about this team

 

The Global PR team are the storytellers and relationship managers. We lead how lululemon shows up in the media, by creating authentic relationships with journalists and influencers who count on us for product education and to be engaged with the inspiring stories and moments that shape our global brand.  

 

Reporting to the Global PR Senior Manager, the Global Public Relations Coordinator is responsible for supporting and executing lululemon’s core public relations activities including media monitoring, consumer media relations, media events, product sampling program and media list development. The Global PR Coordinator has strong written and oral communication skills, excellent organization and time management skills, strong knowledge of media, a passion for storytelling and is a team player.


core responsibilities

  • Lead media monitoring activities, including managing daily media inbox and monitoring tools to support weekly reporting. 
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of Global PR team resources, including media datatbase, media materials and subcriptions. 
  • Coordinate all PR image resources for product, brand and community initiaives and media requests. 
  • Coordinate product sample requests for all Global PR media opps. 
  • Participate in developing media materials (seeding kits, media lists, pitches, key messaging + Q&A support)
  • In market support at Global PR media preview events & activations. 
  • Support cross-functional relationships with key internal partners, including Brand operations, Brand Creative, Merchandising, Global Sports Marketing/Partnerships, and more, for consumer PR initiatives and materials development.
  • Coordinate vendor invoicing and manage budget tools for Global PR team. 


qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in PR, communications or journalism 
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a communications/public relations setting 
  • Excellent knowledge of North America media outlets 
  • Good understanding of media monitoring and measurement tools
  • Strong written and oral communication skills – including experience writing for press
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Sharepoint

compensation and benefits package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $55,300- $72,600annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and subject to program eligibility requirements.
