about this team

The Inbound Logistics (IBL) team is an integral part of the supply chain. We are responsible for the efficient on-time delivery of lululemon product and shipments. Our team supports merchants, planning, allocations, sourcing, production and our DCs coordinating domestic, cross border, and international shipments globally. We are passionate about great service with a smile. The Planning & Forecasting Lead is focused to lead on creating/designing weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually IBL Performance presentation of all inbound goods into our global DCs, and leading/supporting key initiatives and communications with internal and external partners. Partners include but are not limited to:   Merchants, planning, allocations, sourcing, DC's, logistics service providers.

 

core responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading Inbound performance reporting through dashboards and inputs provided by internal and external partners
  • Work closely with Merchandise Planning & Allocations (MP&A), as well as other internal and external stakeholders, to assure the On-Time Performance of inbound receipts
  • Support origin and destination optimization opportunities within assigned responsibilities
  • Leads relationships with Merchants, Sourcing, LLO, Planning and Allocations
  • Supports internal sourcing strategy and optimization opportunities
  • Leads Footwear and additional category planning and inbound communications
  • Responsible for gathering global market intel from key internal and external logistic partners
  • Strategize and lead the Inbound Planning process to assure On-Time Performance success
  • Support key inbound strategic planning, risk and communication activities w/key inbound peers globally
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners on regular cadence to support key initiatives and roadmaps
  • Collaborate with global IBL team members on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual LSP management
  • Collaborate with global logistics internal and external network on business continuity and change management, etc.

 

qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent
  • 5+ years working experience within a logistics department (ideally in a retail environment) or logistics service provider  
  • An understanding and practical knowledge of retail environment, transportation and DC operations
  • Ability to think "outside the box" and thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Clear communications skills
  • Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills. Ability to synthesize data into comprehensive reports        
  • Excellent PC Skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI)
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deliver results by critical deadlines

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500 - $107,000annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
