about this team

The retail planning and analytics team’s purpose is to drive exceptional performance through actionable plans and insights; empowering people to unlock the best experiences in retail. The team is directly responsible for retail sales, labour, and headcount plans in North America and is mandated as a Global Center of Excellence to support international regions.

 

a day in the life: what you'll do 

You will support the evolution of our end-to-end sales, labour, and headcount planning process for our stores globally. In this role, you will:

  • Leverage both machine learning–based forecasts and traditional methodologies to forecast key labour and sales drivers (traffic, transactions, units) at scale.
  • Refine and simplify lululemon’s retail labour model by utilizing engineered labour standards to plan daily, weekly, and monthly store targets.
  • Enhance the operational planning process and data flows as we translate plans into internal databases and store-facing platforms
  • Partner with international analysts and financial planning partners to manage annual labour spend and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and provide data‑driven insights.
  • Lead the evolution of lululemon’s international retail planning strategy and support the management and execution of project plans.


qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in planning, consulting, or analytical roles, ideally within the retail industry
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with demand‑planning tools or workforce‑management systems (asset)
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; thrives in ambiguity and complexity
  • Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500 - $135,900 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and, subject to program eligibility requirements.
