about this team

As a Senior Engineer I in the GEC Tech - Data Platform and Governance team, you’ll have a wealth of data to leverage to create the future of lululemon’s contact center. We’re up to cool stuff. AI, Snowflake architecture, and Salesforce integrations with rich data sets, to name a few.


core responsibilities

As an Sr. Engineer I, you’ll play a key role in leading the engineering future of our Snowflake platform within the team. You’ll work closely with our enterprise data teams to enforce data standards on our team. You’ll also help define those standards. You’ll be in charge of what we’re doing to improve our Snowflake environment to ensure data is clean, of quality, and usable by our other clients. You’ll work closely with a team of other talented data engineers to help deliver some cool capabilities relates to ML and AI, as well.


qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, plus 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience with Information Technology.
  • 5+ years of expert knowledge in Snowflake and DBA skills
  • 5+ years expertise in data processing (job) optimization
  • 5+ years experience in database administration
  • 3+ years and proficient in CI/CD processing and DevOps practices
  • 5+ years and extensive experience with ETL processes
  • 5+ years in SQL. Must be an expert.
  • 2+ years in expertise in Kafka, API integration patterns, and APIGEE
  • Experience in Power BI and Power BI integration patterns
  • Experience integrating Salesforce Service Cloud a huge plus
  • Proficient in cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS
  • Experience with Databricks
  • Skilled in using GitHub for version control and collaboration

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $123,500 - $162,100annually annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
