about this team 

The North America Retail Brand Experience (NA RBE) department is a core function of the North America Brand Marketing organization, comprised of three functions: Visual Merchandising and Styling, Store Portfolio and In-store Marketing. We are the storytellers of the brand and product shaping the guest experience through exceptional product presentation, captivating signage and imagery, and a thoughtfully designed store journey. This role reports to the Director, North America Visual Merchandising.

  

core responsibilities  

The Sr. Manager, Key Market Visual Merchandising leads the strategy and execution of Visual Merchandising (VM) across key markets and key doors, ensuring brand and product standards are consistently elevated. This role oversees the Key Market team and partners closely with Senior Retail leadership to drive excellence in VM execution, seasonal activations, and store-specific strategies that enhance the customer experience and brand storytelling. 

 

  • Manage and develop the Key Market team, fostering collaboration and consistency across markets. 
  • Serve as direct partner to Sr. Retail Directors and Regional Managers, holding them accountable for VM standards, operating principles, and execution within their regions. 
  • Oversee seasonal floorset flips and ensure accurate Optimal Store Layouts across markets. 
  • Drive consistency in top doors through training, coaching, and accountability for visual merchandising specialists (VMS). 
  • Present market insights and feedback to the NA VM Mainline team to inform in-season adjustments and future VM and styling strategies. 
  • Collaborate on VM sustainment of New Store Openings and Optimization initiatives with the NA Store Portfolio team. 
  • Oversee execution of select brand and product activations, providing expertise and on-the-ground support. 
  • Develop and deliver fleet-wide VM training guides and standards operating principles for VMS, Store Managers, Regional Managers, and Sr. Retail Directors. 
  • Maintain regular connection with Regional Managers and Sr. Retail Directors through photo sharing, store walk-throughs, market visits, and other communication channels

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, merchandising or visual communications, preferred 
  • 8-12 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, Merchandising, or Buying, with at least 5 years in leadership roles  
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams across multiple markets
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels and across functions 
  • Creative thinker with a track record of implementing innovative VM solutions 
  • Retail experience required; apparel experience strongly preferred

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $134,100-$176,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program subject to program eligibility requirements.
