about this team

We are seeking a Senior Manager, U.S. Tax to support and manage U.S. federal and

state income tax matters for lululemon’s growing global business. This role is a key

contributor on the Global Tax team and will partner closely with Finance, Legal,

Treasury, and external advisors to ensure compliance, manage tax risk, and support

strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a strong technical tax professional with experience in large

multinational public companies, sound judgment, and the ability to translate complex tax

matters into clear business insights.


core responsibilities

• Responsible for the company’s U.S. federal and state corporate income tax

compliance, including the review, preparation and filing of tax returns,

extensions, and tax payments

• Prepare the company’s U.S. income tax provision under ASC 740, including

current and deferred tax calculations and supporting documentation

• Monitor changes in U.S. tax legislation and assess impacts to the business

• Support U.S. tax planning initiatives, including entity structuring, intercompany

transactions, and business transformations

• Partner with internal stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives, including

transfer pricing strategies, treasury management, and other finance departments

• Manage U.S. income tax audits and controversies, including coordination with

external advisors and tax authorities

• Support U.S. transfer pricing positions and filings in collaboration with the global

transfer pricing team

• Contribute to SOX compliance and internal controls related to income taxes

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team

culture


qualifications

• Professional accounting designation (CPA or Master of U.S. Taxation strongly

preferred)

• 10+ years’ experience of U.S. corporate income tax experience, including

experience in a large multinational public company and/or a Big 4 accounting firm

• Experience with international tax• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal and state corporate income tax

legislation, including the Tax Cut and Jobs Act (2018) and the One Big Beautiful

Bill Act (2025)

• U.S. tax research and analysis experience

• ASC 740, Accounting for Income Taxes, knowledge and experience preferred

• Experience supporting income tax audits and working with external advisors

• Experience with direct people management and leadership

• Ability to work independently with limited general supervision, effectively

prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced, evolving environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient with tax technology such as OneSource and ERP systems such as

Oracle

compensation and benefits package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy

that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range

for this position is from $145,000 - 190,300 annually; the base pay offered is based on

market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience,

and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this

position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program

eligibility requirements.
