about this team

The team is responsible for unlocking data to the business through snowflake instances or databricks workspaces, building a robust, reusable data ingestion framework with cost & performance optimization in mind and building a semantic model for data analytics that serves as a solid base for unlocking AI/ML capabilities
 

a day in the life: what you’ll do

The Senior Manager is responsible for developing and executing the Enterprise Analytical Data Platform strategy in alignment with business and technology goals. You will manage a team of data & report engineers and data analysts to deliver the platform COE and platform governance and will also provide analytical insights & solutions to the business and technology stakeholders to fuel business growth. 

  • Lead set up and maintenance of scalable data platforms that include snowflake and databricks.
  • Establish and run COE for the data platforms to drive cost & performance efficiency. 
  • Establish and run COE for information delivery platform like PBI with security, governance, operations & performance in mind.
  • Partner with legal, security & compliance teams to enforce data platform policies.
  • Partner with Global architecture in ensuring the platform features for business unlocks are in alignment with architecture principles for scalability & security.
  • Lead a high paced technology team and partnering with business to enable analytics to solve business use cases.
  • Responsible for tracking the usage of opex and capex costs for Snowflake, Databricks & PBi platforms.
  • Ensure all charge back models are in place for enterprise usage of the platforms.
  • Ensure cost optimizations & efficiencies are always looked at to keep the spend within the approved opex / capex budgets.
  • Ensure the variance is minimal between actual vs forecast and be able to justify the variances if any.


 

qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science
  • 10+ years’ experience related analytics engineering & reporting experience.
  • 3+ years of people management experience
  • Experience working with Onshore /Offshore model is desired
  • Vendor management experience mandatory
  • Experience with Snowflake, Databricks & PBI platforms are mandatory
  • Experience with leading Engineering teams is mandatory
  • Experience with Azure or AWS ecosystem products mandatory

Compensation and Benefits Package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $158,900 - $198,600annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
