who we are

lululemon is an innovative performance apparel company for yoga, running, training, and other athletic pursuits. Setting the bar in technical fabrics and functional design, we create transformational products and experiences that support people in moving, growing, connecting, and being well. We owe our success to our innovative product, emphasis on stores, commitment to our people, and the incredible connections we make in every community we're in. As a company, we focus on creating positive change to build a healthier, thriving future. In particular, that includes creating an equitable, inclusive and growth-focused environment for our people.

about this team

We’re the North American Store Design team at lululemon—where architecture meets artistry, and every store is a canvas. Our mission? To bring the brand to life through immersive, community-rooted spaces that inspire movement, mindfulness, and connection. We’re not just designing stores—we’re shaping experiences that reflect lululemon’s values and vision.

We’re a team of creative thinkers, detail obsessives, and experience-makers who thrive on collaboration, innovation, and pushing the boundaries of what retail can be.

what you'll do

As a Store Designer, you’ll be at the heart of lululemon’s physical brand expression. You’ll lead the creative journey from concept to construction, crafting spaces that are as functional as they are beautiful. You’ll bring bold ideas to life while balancing brand consistency, local nuance, and operational excellence.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be up to:

  • Design with Purpose: Create compelling fixture layouts, storefront elevations, and architectural details that elevate the guest experience and embody the lululemon brand.
  • Lead the Vision: Own the design process from feasibility to final build, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to bring each space to life.
  • Make it Real: Translate strategy into spatial storytelling—developing schematic designs, managing drawing packages, and ensuring every detail aligns with our design intent.
  • Collaborate & Elevate: Partner with architects, engineers, lighting designers, and vendors to deliver high-quality, buildable, and beautiful spaces.
  • Champion the Brand: Ensure every store reflects our global design language while embracing local culture and community.
  • Be the Glue: Coordinate across functions (IT, Brand, AP, etc.) to keep projects on track, on budget, and on brand.
  • Inspire & Influence: Present your work with clarity and passion—whether to landlords, review boards, or internal stakeholders.
  • Stay Curious: Visit sites, solve problems, and continuously evolve our design standards through post-project reviews and innovation.

who you are

You’re a creative powerhouse with a sharp eye for design and a deep love for retail environments. You think in 3D, dream in color, and thrive in fast-paced, collaborative settings. You’re as comfortable sketching a storefront concept as you are presenting to senior leadership.
