about this team

Within the Digital organisation, the Ecommerce Catalogue team is responsible for managing and optimising our online product availability, inventory and product classification across our European websites. Using Salesforce capabilities, combined with buy information from the EMEA Buying & Planning teams, Omnichannel programmes and inventory information from the UK and Netherlands DC, the Manager, Ecommerce Catalogue leads a team of specialists and coordinators to ensure optimal product coverage, across all divisions, with conversion rate and sell-through in mind. The Manager, Ecommerce Catalogue leads operational aspects of weekly full price product drops, plus seasonal sale executions and collaborates with other Ecommerce functional managers in creating annual and quarterly channel strategies.

a day in the life: what you’ll do

  • Manages Ecommerce Catalogue Snr. Specialist, Specialist and Coordinator, setting functional priorities and dedicating time to develop and coach team members
  • Takes wider Ecommerce strategic priorities and develops functional strategies to achieve departmental goals. Responsible for several complex projects within functional strategy; requires partnership with numbers stakeholder groups inc. technology and product.
  • Updates on project status to relevant leadership sponsors and reports on performance
  • Refers to MPA plans across all divisions during Ecommerce activity planning cycle, in collaboration with other functional managers, to support sell through of product inventory where investment requires and also support brand campaign execution 
  • Manages ecommerce inventory holding across multiple locations, ensuring optimal coverage for sales plans, working with stakeholders to execute transfers where needed
  • Produces weekly reporting for stakeholders to inform them of performance of newly released products, markdown contribution, omni programme performance and to identify opportunities for stock transfers to support trade
  • Key stakeholder for Centre of Excellence, INTL Product Discovery and EMEA MPA teams, participating in global projects to improve product data and product drop processes
  • Identifies technology priorities within Catalogue function; creates business cases to support prioritisation with Snr. Product Manager and provides insight and requirements throughout implementation process, trains wider teams when necessary
  • Works with Snr. Manager, Omnichannel to ensure optimal performance of SFS programme, activating products to support clearance of retail inventory and Ecommerce conversions.

Qualifications, skills & experience 

  • 7+ years’ experience in e-commerce or related spaces (buying/merchandising/operations)
  • Strong analytical approach to identify and understand trends based on data and insight
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce and merchandising/planning eco-systems, such as Anaplan and Salesforce Business Manager
  • Able to adapt wider department strategy into functional yearly view, enroll stakeholders in vision and remain accountable for delivery throughout year
  • Understanding of wider ecommerce landscape
