About this team

The lululemon On-Site Quality Assurance team is dedicated to ensuring our components are produced of the highest quality, delivered when we need them, and manufactured with partners who share our commitment to elevating the world.  Not only do we manage the production of great product at an exceptional quality level, we also build great relationships.


A day in the life: 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with SSC Product Development, Market PI, and other teams to understand product design, assess critical-to-quality risks, and incorporate guest feedback, ensuring delivery of products that meet lululemon’s highest quality standards.
  • Monitor production and operational processes to maintain quality control, reliability, and adherence to quality specifications.
  • Review and approvals of Pre-Production samples, drive PP meetings, review Pilot runs and In-line inspections. 
  • Monitor the effectiveness of inspection processes and work with the vendors or 3rd parties to change on-site inspection strategies as needed in accordance with policy and procedure. 
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify non-conformances, document findings, and track defects. Work closely with vendors to determine root causes and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure garments or accessories produced and shipped to lululemon consistently meet established quality standards.
  • Maintain detailed quality records and reports that track quality metrics, issues, and supplier performance.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive quality improvement initiatives while staying updated with industry best practices.
  • Train and support vendor quality teams on quality assurance procedures, policies, and standards to maintain consistent quality practices on the production floor.
  • Develop and oversee improvement plans with factories, ensuring successful execution and resolution of quality issues.
  • Promote and embody lululemon’s culture at all levels.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in textiles or industrial engineering or 10 years relevant experience  
  • 5+ years experience working in a quality assurance role working directly with factories 
  • Excellent communication and IT Skills 
  • Ability to travel is a must 
  • Passion for quality 
  • Strong ability to work independently within the structure of a team, work under pressure and meet deadlines 
  • Desire to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness 
  • You love to have fun and sweat
