about this team

The Fulfillment Planning team is a critical function in driving connection and partnership across our Global Fulfillment vertical and key stakeholders across the organization. The role will report to the Director, Fulfillment Planning, leading a team of analysts to develop the program and deliver on key mandates in this highly cross-functional area. This team is responsible for facilitating connection, visibility and coordination across key channel partners, product teams and within our Global Fulfillment functions, driving targeted performance reviews, continuous improvement and driving actions to reduce risks when constraints arise across the network. This leader can expect to liaise directly with leaders throughout the organization including but not limited to Ecom & Retail Channel Operations, Merchandise Planning, S&OP, FP&A, DC Operations, Logistics, Fulfillment Engineering & Strategy teams.

 

core responsibilities

  • Establish leadership review forums to enhance partnership across above mentioned stakeholders to drive effective product flow in region, driving connection, visibility and coordination 
  • Guide NAM fulfillment functional teams as required, to drive end-to-end fulfillment solutions and coordinate resolution to any significant or complex operational risk that may impact fulfillment to guests or stores. 
  • Collaborate with key cross-functional partners to drive alignment of demand profiles and inventory position to distribution center capacity, with particular focus on Q4 event planning & in-season execution.
  • Provide management support across key P&L cost metrics impacting Fulfillment (i.e. Ecom split shipments, retail carton utilization, cross-region shipping cost & service metrics, DC labour cost-to-serve trade-offs) 
  • Lead and mentor a team of analysts, delivering fulfillment-based business insights to manage risk and highlight solutions. Leverage deep end-to-end understanding of Fulfillment network structure to partner with other functional teams to enrich collective insights. 
  • Drive cross-functional alignment for any end-to-end fulfillment network changes/updates, including ongoing support and partner communication during key transition periods (i.e. new distribution center openings)
  • Guide fulfillment roadmap planning and decisions with business requirements from Product and Channels. 
  • Guide EMEA Fulfillment Planning resourcing on functional processes and work

 

 

qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with varying timelines and scopes simultaneously; including ability to plan, budget and manage project execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to align leadership team members to a set of recommendations, plans and drive decision making.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end business processes, including some working knowledge of distribution, logistics, and trade compliance networks
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to lead and conduct complex network modeling and financial analysis.
  • Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines and budgets
  • Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and foster this within your team.
  • Strong experience with MS Powerpoint, Excel, Word necessary. Experience with Power BI, SQL and JIRA is an asset. 
  • Undisputed integrity, personal and business ethics; ability to build trust and respect with different stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field – Business, Data Analytics, statistics, mathematics preferred. 
  • Experience – 7-10 years minimum experience

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $134,100 - $176,000annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
