a day in the life: what you’ll do 


The role of the Senior Manager, People & Culture is to be a strategic partner to EMEA’s Store Support Center (SSC) aka Head Office or Non-Retail functional leaders. You will build integrated people plans in collaboration with the Centres of Excellence, as well as coach and manage a team of two in delivery of initiatives and business support. You will report to the EMEA People & Culture Senior Director and form part of the EMEA P&C Leadership Team. 

  • Business partner to the EMEA functional leaders and EMEA Centres of Excellence to co-create integrated people plans, partnering with 9 functional leaders covering 300+ employees
  • Plan 12-24 month priorities for and oversee the delivery of work, being agile where business needs evolve
  • Coach department leaders through all people matters
  • Lead on high-profile or strategic projects impacting all corporate head office and call centre employees
  • Partner with department leaders through the structure and design of their org, and oversee the implementation of reorgs
  • Oversee the implementation of cyclical activities, including the annual performance and reward cycle and employee engagement survey

 

  • Manage ER cases where relevant, and guide team through consistency of outcomes
  • Consulted on, and inform the roadmap for, policy, compliance and ER initiatives
  • Consulted on, and inform the roadmap for, Centres of Excellence in EMEA – L&D, Comp & Bens, D&I – from the point of view of corporate head office and call centre functions  
  • Annual Operating Plan input and budget request for people initiatives regarding corporate head office and call centre functions
  • Embed a culture of succession planning and targeted development, within lululemon’s Pace framework
  • Lead the evolution of how we work in EMEA, with global direction
  • Continually evolve our local operating models, ways of working and processes within the wider People & Culture team as we scale, in partnership with the relevant leaders

 

qualifications, skills & experience 


  • Minimum 10 years experience in HR profession, including a HR Business Partner role
  • CIPD Level 5 or above (or degree equivalent) preferable
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity is essential
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • People management experience preferable
