about this team

The Sales Audit team under the Finance department is responsible for global product sales data integrity between the point of sale systems and the financial reporting systems. We work closely with cross-functional partners across the business to ensure all sales related issues are investigated and resolved to support our month end close process. You are the perfect fit if you have deep curiosity, commitment to quality and drive - you use your logic and analytical skills to uncover issues and find solutions.


core responsibilities

  • Prepare daily reconciliations of product sales between point-of-sale systems and the sales sub-ledger.
  • Prepare SOX control related reports to support month-end close.
  • Month end journal entry preparation & account analysis.
  • Correct errors in our sub-ledger and retail sales audit system.
  • Investigate issues and facilitate communication between Finance, Technology, Stores teams and other cross functional partners to resolve reporting issues.
  • Respond to sales accuracy queries made by lululemon's store teams.
  • Continually seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
  • Maintain a commitment to developing your technical and soft skills in order to progress career development.


qualifications

  • Pursuing or expecting to pursue a CPA designation is an asset. Accounting degree is a must if a CPA designation is not expected to be pursued.
  • Undergraduate degree complete, or near completion.
  • Accounting experience is an asset.
  • Highly motivated, detail-oriented with ability to engage in, prioritize, and perform multiple ongoing tasks while maintaining an attention to detail.
  • Enjoy working in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Curiosity of how systems interact and provide financial data output.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $71,400-$93,800 CADannually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
