About this team

Reporting to the Sr. Director, P&C – APAC, the role operates in close collaboration with both the Sr. Manager, L&L – APAC and the global IDEA function. It includes shared responsibilities and commitments that support both L&L and IDEA priorities and initiatives.


From IDEA perspective, this role will have responsibility for working with Global IDEA to shape and drive IDEA strategy that advance diversity, inclusion, equity, and action (IDEA) across all the markets of APAC. You will lead the design and delivery of impactful IDEA programs and initiatives, serving as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for teams and leaders across the business. Through close partnership, you will educate, guide, and champion inclusive behaviors that align with our global IDEA vision. A critical part of your remit will be to localize global IDEA goals and develop tailored, country-specific strategies across 11 diverse markets. 

As of the responsibilities of Learning & Leadership, this role supports the learning programs for our greater SSC teams and leads based in Hong Kong, this role will work closely with the APAC Learning & Leadership Team and People & Culture Business Partners to implement strategic learning solutions and priorities to cope with rapid business growth.  


A day in the life: 
  • Develop, manage, and implement inclusion, diversity, equity & actions (IDEA) programs, including but not limited to core programming, role training and on-going development
  • Collaborate with global IDEA and regional partners to create, manage and execute IDEA strategy across the 11 markets in APAC.
  • Be the key point of  contact with teams and leaders across the business, partnering to educate, advise, guide, and champion behaviors that support our IDEA efforts.
  • Update all program assets & learning materials to ensure accuracy, relevance and impact
  • Curate and author new content to continuously elevate the Company’s diversity and inclusion programs
  • Represent the department as a subject-matter expert at internal and external events on IDEA-related topics 
  • Engage with and enroll business partners and senior leaders to ensure alignment with IDEA strategy, philosophy, intent, accountability and success measures
  • Gather industry research to identify gaps and opportunities and make recommendations to strengthen IDEA programs
  • Serve as an internal subject-matter-expert on diversity, inclusion & equity trends and data
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to build communication frameworks and develop supporting materials  
  • Foster a culture of inclusion that is meaningful and relevant across different geographies 
  • Adapt and facilitate core programs to support the functional and leadership growth of our SSC teams
  • Ensure all training programs/projects/experiences are implemented according to plan
  • Conduct needs analysis with Business Partners to prioritize learning needs that fits the business needs.
  • Partner with L&L Team to align APAC leadership Team enrolment and ensure synergy with area learning needs
  • Measure, monitor, and report on training effectiveness to drive continuous improvements 


Qualifications:
  • Recommended 5+ years solid training experience, coaching and instructional design, and 2+ years of relevant experience in diversity, inclusion & equity work or roles
  • Advanced education in psychology, sociology, organizational behavior/ development, cognitive behaviors and/or diversity studies
  • Comfort with professional and academic studies with a focus on research application
  • Project Management: Must be proactive, highly motivated and collaborative. Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, coaching and conflict resolution skills
  • Exceptional organizational, time management and prioritization skills. Strong problem solving, customer service, coaching, conflict resolution and analytical skills
  • Exceptional Communication Skills both written and verbal.
