About the Global Internship Program 

Our Global Internship Program offers an immersive, inclusive, and fun learning experience for early-in-career talent at select participating Store Support Centre (SSC) locations.  Throughout the 12-week program, interns gain exposure to real business initiatives, contribute to meaningful projects, and build lasting connections through networking opportunities, company events, and mentorship from leaders across the organization. The 2026 program opportunities will be product-focused, with interns supporting the teams driving product innovation and international growth.

 

  • Program Dates: June 1 to August 21, 2026 (dates subject to change)
  • Compensation & Benefits: Full-time, paid internship with access to group fitness classes, employee discount, and paid time off (prorated), including observed holidays.
  • Development Opportunities: Q&A sessions with executive leaders, alumni networking events, and career development sessions.
  • 3-Tier Support: Each intern is paired with a manager, mentor, and buddy for day-to-day support and dedicated career guidance.
  • Career Pathways: Interns participating in the 2026 program will have early access to full-time job opportunities. However, conversion to full-time employment after the program is not guaranteed.

 

Product Development at lululemon

Join the Product Development team and be at the heart of transforming design concepts into commercially ready products. From initial sketches to pre-production, this team leads the product journey by managing sampling, coordinating fittings, and maintaining accurate lifecycle data. Product Developers are the central communicators with our vendor base and work cross-functionally with Design, Concept, Fit, Quality, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Go-To-Market teams to ensure each product meets our standards of excellence. As an intern, you’ll develop an understanding of the commercialization process from design to production.

 

A day in the life 

As a Product Development Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in supporting the journey of bringing product concepts to life. Working closely with seasoned mentors across the product creation team, you’ll be immersed in the full product development process and work in a fast-paced, creative, and highly collaborative environment. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Sample Management: Organize product samples, manage style number and colorway creation, and order wear testing samples from vendors 
  • Product Lifecycle Data: Maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials), fabric, trims and technical components information in systems like Flex PLM
  • Product Readiness: Set up and oversee the style or group of carryover styles through to production
  • Workflow Support: Assist the team in preparing for fittings and presentations, helping to keep product development workflows aligned with the Go-To-Market timelines

 

Qualifications: 

  • Completed or currently pursuing BA, BFA or BS in Technical Design, Product Management, Product Development required (or equivalent)
  • Proficient in MS office (Excel, Word) and Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop)
  • Knowledge of Flex PLM or similar PLM software is recommended
  • Strong communication skills to effectively share design concepts and collaborate across teams
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with the ability to navigate ambiguity, multitask in a fast-paced environment, and respond flexibly to changing business needs
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks to meet deadlines
  • Open to feedback and committed to continuous learning and growth

Compensation and Benefits Package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $55,300-$60,300 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed onsite at least 4 days per week.
