about this team

The Global Libraries & Archives function sits within Commercialization Operations and is responsible for making accessible lululemon’s collection of raw materials through the operations of our physical and digital libraries and archive. 

 

core responsibilities

This role supports and advances global library and archive functions by designing and operating the systems, standards, and processes that enhance the discoverability, utility, and long‑term integrity of lululemon’s groundbreaking materials. Through curation, cataloging, circulation, and multi‑site integration, the role ensures timely intake, informed de‑scoping, and reliable access to current and historic materials that enable innovation, protect IP, and accelerate product creation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Design & implement library & archive systems, standards, and process improvements to enhance discoverability and data quality.
  • Own daily operations of the library, ensuring items are in their correct locations and the space is tidy and functional for users.
  • Perform the complete range of circulation duties, including inventory integrity (refiling, replenishing, removing).
  • Process and digitally catalogue physical materials into the library using defined material metadata and hierarchical classifications.
  • Travel required as needed to support multi-site maintenance and circulation duties such as integrations and removals.
  • Support processing and digital cataloging of raw materials archive materials in alignment with archival policies and best practices.
  • Action and track relevant sample yardage orders within the library function.
  • Collaborate with Raw Material Developers to support seasonal material handover and maintain an accurate, organized, and intentional library collection.

 

qualifications

  • Education or experience in product development, textiles, library, archival, collections management, or information studies is preferred.
  • A passion for organization - you can create order from chaos.
  • A genuine interest in textiles and materials - you’re attentive to the details.
  • An ability to think methodically and sequentially when creating or following processes - you may also often see an improved way of doing things.
  • Experience in Smartsheet and Microsoft Excel is an asset.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$66,000 - $82,500annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
