a day in the life: what you’ll do

Capture high level business requirements and translate them into detailed business requirements and actionable functional specifications. Facilitate backlog refinement and prioritization in consultation with the Product Manager. Align with Program, Product and business stakeholders on dependencies, delivery and scope. Lead comprehensive analyses of business processes and develop AI-driven use cases to enhance efficiency and effectiveness metrics. Create Epics and user stories in JIRA and documents in Confluence. Improve productivity of educators by creating clear recommendations for early resolution of issues and providing insights to refine educational products. Partner with Quality Assurance and Development members to validate new features & enhancements, issue tracking and assists in deployment. Create requirements on how to utilize Snowflake for data warehousing and Kafka for real-time data streaming to support data-driven decision-making. Create requirements for how to develop and implement advanced reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI. Prepare and deliver user training and documentation for relevant processes, systems, and projects. Create requirements between Salesforce Service Cloud data sets into Snowflake to enable sales and customer related datasets. Manage assigned projects or project deliverables including requirements, process maps, functional and configuration specifications, training material, issue logs, production support tickets and other deliverables as required.   Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, present findings, and drive consensus between internal, external, and vendor stakeholders. Work with application developers through the development and configuration cycles to ensure systems and modification meet business needs. Be thoroughly involved in the QA and validating acceptance criteria process, which includes validating datasets, validating acceptance criteria, and writing bugs if needed. 

 

Telecommuting permitted 100% - employee may live anywhere in the U.S.     

 

40 hrs./week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.  

 

qualifications

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field plus five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in information technology. 

 

  • Must have 5 years of experience with business systems analysis, including translating business requirements into technology solutions, making tradeoffs between business needs and technology constraints, and creating technology roadmaps that are aligned with business partners.

 

  • Must have 5 years of experience in managing intakes, requirements, and dependencies for metrics related to multiple stakeholders.

 

  • Must have 5 years of experience drafting requirements related to the end-to-end SDLC lifecycle, from use case and story creation, to deployment, operational readiness, production support.

 

  • Must have 5 years of experience writing user stories, epics, and templates.

 

  • Must have 5 years of experience leading and contributing to agile ceremonies such as refinement sessions, retrospectives, sprint planning, and demo.

 

  • Must have 5 years of experience working with business intelligence or data projects, including data integrations and acquisitions.

 

  • Must have 3 years of experience in the retail industry and with retail specific contact centers.

 

  • Must have 2 years of experience with Power BI, Snowflake, Kafka, Data Bricks & Azure/ADF.

 

  • Must have 2 years of experience communicating technical and project management concepts to non-technical audiences, in business-oriented terms.

 

  • Must have 1 year of experience mentoring or leading junior Business Analysts.

 

  • Must have 1 year of experience in analyzing or designing Salesforce Service Cloud reporting for contact center related metrics.

 

  • Must have 1 year of experience in working with product managers to prioritize tasks by providing business value analysis.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $165,200.00 – $185,200.00 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
