As a member of the lululemon Talent Activation team, the Sr Program Manager Talent Activation – Career Development and Recognition

This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute your experience and passion for all things talent in a dynamic, fast-growing, and global business. This role will report into the Manager Talent Activation – Career Development and be part of a broader team of talent activation professionals supporting development and implementation of talent activation programs and initiatives.

The role will own current and future-state strategies for enabling career development through job shadowing and job rotation. This role also has responsibility over the enterprise recognition strategy, which includes owning and delivering annual recognition events and activities for long tenured employees, further aligning practices that recognize talent at lululemon for everything they contribute to enterprise culture. A critical part of this role will involve partnering with other teams in the People & Culture business such as business partnering, and compensation and benefits, as well as various business teams such as those which manage company events.

 

core responsibilities

  • Create, communicate, and own Talent Activation programs globally (such as current centralized job shadowing programs and recognition events): driving and conducting needs analysis, creating and executing against talent plans/roadmaps, and reporting and audit of existing programs.
  • Contribute to the creation, implementation, and management of Talent Activation programs and processes in order to achieve strategic business initiatives. This includes setting the program strategy, communicating the vision, and managing all aspects of implementation.
  • Drive program goals and provide program management support. This includes defining project plans, managing implementation activities, and developing protocols, documentation, education, and communications for project rollout and ongoing management. 
  • Support streamlined user experience of key people processes, including identifying and operationalizing opportunities for process improvement and evolution.
  • Create process improvement mechanisms including automation on some of the existing processes/ tools to ensure standardization and consistency as we scale.
  • Identify appropriate metrics to measure effectiveness of Talent Activation initiatives including the ability to dive deep and partner with People & Culture and other stakeholders to drive results.

 

qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years of HR experience working in HR, Talent Management, Learning & Development, and/or Project Management roles. 
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology and/or an MBA highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills as well as prioritization and planning skills – with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in time sensitive matters and organized to manage and track multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Possess a high level of integrity, judgment, and discretion in handling confidential information. 
  • Knowledge of core Talent Management programs/processes, including performance management, promotions, succession planning, and talent development.
  • HR Project Management experience with experience in scoping, leading and delivering complex projects. The right candidate will have a track record of project management from conception and design through implementation, measurement and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of program management lifecycle and project management tools.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500-$135,900 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and, subject to program eligibility requirements.
