about this team

The Global Digital Technology organization is seeking a talented Senior Technology Manager to lead strategic, cross-functional technology initiatives that drive innovation and operational excellence across lululemon’s iOS application. In this role you will also oversee technology initiatives, drive program delivery across multiple product and engineering teams, and manage a team of program managers, project managers, and business analysts. 

This role is ideal for a leader who thrives at the intersection of people, process, and technology. 


You demonstrate leadership by supporting the growth and development of your team as a whole and individually. Goal-setting is as integral to lululemon as yoga and you facilitate your team’s participation in our Vision & Goals program. Defining what is authentically important for you and your team and then setting out to make it happen.

 

a day in the life: what you’ll do

Develop, manage and evangelize predictive modeling tools based on CRM guest identification and interaction history. These models will be used across lululemon for audience-level customization and journey measurement.

  • Directly lead, mentor, and support a team of Program managers, Project managers, and Business Analysts 
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and career development guidance 
  • Deliver large-scale retail technology programs supporting the goals of our Mobile Application 
  • Partner with product, engineering, and business operation teams to define program goals, scope, and success metrics
  • Manage program timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple workstreams
  • Promote Agile, Lean, or hybrid delivery methodologies suited to the teams
  • Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and resolve cross-functional blockers
  • Communicate program status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and business leaders

 

qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in program or project management within a technology organization 
  • 3+ years’ experience directly managing people or leading teams 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members 
  • Proven success delivering complex technology programs
  • Understanding of retail operations and digital transformation trends
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels, from engineers to executives
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar is preferred
  • PMP or Agile Certification is preferred
  • Prior experience in the retail industry is an asset

Compensation and Benefits Package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $158,900-$208,500 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
