about this team

As Technology Manager, you are a leader responsible for developing and executing strategies that promote cybersecurity awareness, education, and behavioral change across the organization. This is a critical role as it defines and implements programs and strategies to sustain secure behaviors that address and mitigate one of the highest omnipresent cybersecurity risks; human risk through social engineering. This role will also facilitate end user awareness and adoption of technical changes by leveraging human-centric change management practices that support our end user experience. This role will be a key driver that leads cross-functional efforts to embed cybersecurity into the lululemon culture, ensuring alignment with business goals and our security objectives and requirements. 

 

You are a leader who is comfortable leading and managing team members with different skill sets and can communicate expectations clearly to all team members. In addition to strong management skills, you act as a leader for the overall roadmap for your team and can communicate timeline, scope and risks to partners and stakeholders, and lead the delivery of major initiatives. 

 

This role requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to identify and eliminate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate, and make tradeoffs and balance business objectives versus technical constraints. Maturity, curiosity, creative problem solving, and team leadership are all essential for success in this role. You also bring your experience, ideas, and initiatives to influence and drive change to support our growth, scaling, and security maturity. 

 

core responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness program that facilitates security awareness learning content and human based cybersecurity threats for lululemon’s global user population.
  • Develop and evolve program strategies that support awareness and mitigation of human risk based on emerging cybersecurity threats. 
  • Develop and distribute informative and role-based awareness content through multiple channels, particularly targeting high risk segments of the user base.
  • Plan and execute a regular cadence of awareness campaigns, including phish simulations, cybersecurity threat awareness challenges, and Cybersecurity Awareness month activities.
  • Support the incident response process by ensuring communications are quickly developed and distributed pertaining to potential or realized threats and include required awareness and response actions for all resources.
  • Lead change management initiatives related to cybersecurity tools, policies, and practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business units to align on change management messaging and delivery strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, stakeholders, and end users on issues pertaining to cybersecurity culture and user focused mitigation strategies for risky human behaviors. 
  • Define measurable performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate program efficacy.
  • Manage people, processes, and timeline to ensure that high quality outcomes are produced.
  • Ensure the right skills are applied to solve the right problems by supporting the team with empathetic coaching, skills development, and career path leadership.
  • Drive alignment by building effective partnership with stakeholders across global markets to support security awareness and change management initiatives.
  • Serve as a role model and lead awareness and training for your team in our IDEA program - Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Action.

 

qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Communications, Organizational Development, or a related field; Advanced degree in related field preferred
  • 5 – 7 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Organizational Development, Communications, or in a highly specialized Cybersecurity program management function
  • Demonstrated experience developing and leading training and awareness in a large, global organization with a highly distributed user population
  • Strong understanding of Cybersecurity principles, threats, risks, and regulatory frameworks
  • Experience with change management frameworks and tools
  • Exceptional program management skills, with ability to think strategically and adapt quickly to address evolving cybersecurity threats
  • Must have persuasive communication skills and ability to convey complex security concepts in a meaningful way that resonates across the learner population
  • Creative mindset that looks for innovative ways to communicate security awareness training to ensure the content remains fresh and relevant
  • Effective collaborator that is able to coordinate with cross functional teams to bring the best ideas and experiences to the forefront to develop effective security awareness and change management materials.
  • Cybersecurity related certifications (CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC) preferred

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $145,700 - $191,200 USD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
