about this team

The Inventory Intelligence team at lululemon is a passionate, results-driven engineering group of 25+ professionals. We ensure that product inventory information for our stores and OMNI programs is always accurate and available in real time. Our work empowers guests to shop for our products whenever and wherever they choose.


core responsibilities

The Technology Manager role is dynamic and requires the ability to effectively balance supporting team members’ career growth, building strong business relationships, deeply understanding technical domains, and providing clear engineering leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a solid engineering and development background to guide their team in daily operations and strategic initiatives.


  • Provide vision and leadership to deliver best-in-class RFID/ real-time data streaming technology solutions aligned with lululemon’s business objectives 
  • Partner with business, product management, and technology teams to understand business needs and drive technology solutions
  • Oversee the delivery of RFID technology initiatives ensuring they meet functional requirements and are delivered on time and budget
  • Continuously monitor and optimize RFID technology solutions and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
  • Lead and grow a team of skilled engineers, architects, and analysts through empathy and people-centric approach 
  • Inspires and motivates the team to grow and achieve personal and collective team goals
  • Promotes engineering best practices and ensure teams are following and adopting enterprise standards for well architected, secure, robust and resilient applications
  • Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, ensuring effective partnerships and optimal service delivery


qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology
  • 4+ years of experience in software development in cloud-based technologies
  • 3+ years as a team lead or manager role supporting an engineering team
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $131,100-$172,100 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
