about the team

The Global Brand Experience department is a core function of the Brand & Product Activation organization, with a sharp focus on elevating an inspired understanding of the brand and product stories that underpin and uniquely define lululemon across multiple platforms. Comprised of the core functions of Digital Brand Experience, Retail Brand Experience, Store Design and Event Experience, this team is redefining digital and physical brand experiences by providing strategic design for the online-to-offline journeys that serve our guests and drive sales.


a day in the life

Reporting to the Manager, Global Event Experience, this role will be responsible for leading a portfolio of global experiences, both in-person,

digital, or hybrid. As the Global Event Experience, Manager your focus is to drive the integration of events to power our brand and business objectives. You will be responsible for creating experiences that consider how we bring our brand and business to life experientially for staff and partners. Your work will be instrumental in building a globally coordinated approach to how we create experiences that provide relevance, inspiration, alignment and growth to our staff and partners. You will achieve this by fostering cross functional relationships, operating with a global mindset, managing the full event life cycle from concept to execution, and overseeing the guest experience from start to finish ensuring that each guest touch point appropriately expresses the lululemon brand.


role responsibilities

  • Drive a deep understanding of consumer segments, trends, and insights in experiential brand marketing. Ensure the development of relevant and influential guest experiences at lululemon events including net new ways to approach events and experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional (global, regional, and local) partners to build the foundational “Why” and “How” for lululemon to host events across the globe. Responsible for understanding brand and business objectives to inform the development of global to regional experiential plans.
  • Support event experiences across all regions through development integrated staff and partner experiences.
  • Serve as an event consultant to global internal and regional partners.
  • Serve as functional event experience expert by leading across the entire cross-functional team in significantly global moments. This includes ongoing organizational enrolment, communication, budget management, and reporting of events.
  • Work in collaboration with the Global Event Experience Operations Manager on standardizing global event processes and enrol into new policies, procedures and resource needs as made aware.
  • Responsible for leveraging virtual and physical experiences to support product launches and pinnacle business moments.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that support the long-term growth and evolution of our global event strategy.
  • Responsible for maintaining operational standards and consistency with all cross functional partners.
  • Accountable for working with creative team to ensure cohesiveness across respective functions.
  • Accountable for the execution of product integration strategies, regional execution, and communication plans.
  • Accountable to provide leadership and direction to contractors and agencies as required.

 

 qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
  • 5-7+ years of relevant experience in event planning and production, marketing, public relations or relevant field
  • A track record of successfully delivering brand experiences from start to finish, on time and within budget
  • Proven project management and brand strategy experience
  • Strong digital and virtual experience acumen
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
  • Innovative and strategic thinker
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours
  • Able to work independently with minimal direction, seeking coaching and guidance as needed

Compensation and Benefits Package  

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500- $135,900annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
