about this team

The North America Digital Portfolio Management (aka Portfolio Governance and Planning) team is a key part of the overall Global Digital, OMNI & Guest Support Team. The Portfolio Governance & Planning function enables effective, efficient, consistent planning and governance of work and initiatives across all Global Digital, Omni and Guest Support portfolios and cross-functional teams in tight partnership with technology and our business partners. 

 

a day in the life: key responsibilities

The Program Manager, Digital Portfolio Management will support the NA Digital Portfolio, enabling the delivery of high-visibility key programs and initiatives. This role will partner with key cross-functional teams to deliver on a multi-year roadmap focused on advancing and upgrading our platforms and systems supporting our alternative channels wholesale business. This role will serve as the business Program Management lead to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of work across our digital and ecommerce business, by overseeing program planning, resource allocation, risk management and program reporting. This is a business program management role that will partner with technical program delivery teams to:

  • Lead program delivery of a highly complex, enterprise-wide, multi-year initiative in partnership with technology, product and business teams, defining program scope, goals, success metrics and deliverables
  • Drive alignment on all program deliverables by effectively partnering with stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive cross-functional program plans, timelines and checkpoint gates to ensure successful program delivery
  • Manage program communications and stakeholders, including all levels of leadership
  • Anticipate and manage risks and issues, collaborating with program partners to mitigate and escalate to leadership as required 
  • Monitor program progress and health, providing regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership, including facilitating program steering and operating committees
  • Ensure health of all sub-projects within program, liaising with project managers to manage and track dependencies
  • Manage and report on program budgets, forecasts and actuals holistically
  • Facilitate retrospectives, documenting lessons learned and leveraging and applying leanings to future phases
  • Champion program / project management leading practices and processes

 

qualifications

  • Minimum BA / BS degree from a four-year accredited university in Business Operations, Information Technology or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Senior project or program management professional with 8+ years of related experience in program management and change management, preferably in vertically integrated, global, retail or wholesale environments 
  • Demonstrated experience successfully delivering highly cross-functional multi-year programs with multiple sub-projects and large budgets
  • Comfortable partnering with technical teams delivering in both agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Highly strategic mindset with proven experience in managing trade-offs between business needs and technology constraints
  • Strong understanding of Product Management, Technology, Ecommerce, Retail, and Wholesale.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional relationship-building skills
  • Ability to drive results independently and collaboratively as a team player.
  • Has a deep desire to learn and improve by seeking, accepting and acting on productive feedback.

Compensation and Benefits Package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500 - $135,900annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
