Job Summary:

You are a relationship & influencer marketing expert who will craft and develop the Lululemon China Ambassador Program. You will work with the Global team and also cross-functionally within China to scope and deliver the framework and structure to realise our ambassador program ambition, creating a platform that will allow us to integrate our collective in a meaningful way.

You will also support the growth an evolution of the regional ambassador programs and offer solutions and access for cross functional partners to animate this community.

You report to the Brand and Community Director, and you will local ambassadors and work closely with our local community, brand, product, PR, Digital, and area leads to grow the impact of our athlete and ambassador programs both internally, and externally to our partners and to our guests.

  

Core Accountabilities:

  • You oversee the strategy and foundation of the China ambassador program.
  • You identify opportunities for program growth both internally and externally.
  • You lead, manage and develop the team responsible for executing the program initiatives
  • You are responsible for the creation of marketing plan templates, measurement, and quarterly reporting.
  • You track and manage the overall program budget, which includes forecasting and planning for the future
  • You build out the framework and strategy for ambassador onboarding, ambassador storytelling across our owned channels and earned channels, including leveraging our ambassador network for event animation, livestreams, and content co-creation.
  • You will set up an efficient way to evolve, digitalize our Product Testing framework, for better tracking, measurement
  • You work cross-functionally with the PR team to ensure our network of relationships is reflected at media events and during other branded opportunities like preceding product launches etc.
  • You coach and advise area managers to foster growth of the program in region.
  • You manage the internal program storytelling strategy and execution
  • You research and stay up to date on the ambassador, athlete, and influencer landscape and implement technology and opportunities to innovate within our program
  • You work cross-functionally to create & monitor key metrics to show program impact.
  • You will reach out to other regions and identify cross-border opportunities, both in real life and virtual, to truly create a global community
  • You will connect regularly with the global team to share best practises.

       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

       Ability to prioritize work and perform multiple tasks simultaneously

       Highly detailed oriented and an experience project manager

       You have a high level of sensitivity to product

       Organized, responsible and flexible in a fast-paced growth environment

       Experience reporting on analytics & delivering to KPI’s

       Passion for the lululemon ambassador and athlete programs

       Experienced in sports, athlete, and influencer marketing

       Experienced in digital marketing, content strategy, and story telling

       You believe in relationship building and working as part of a team to achieve goals

       You have a strong network in the sports, fitness, and athlete industries.

Our 'must haves':

  • you have a BA in Business or Marketing
  • you have 8 years of experience developing and leading athlete or influencer strategy at a global brand.
  • You have 3 years experience working with KPI measurement and reporting tools (earned + owned)
  • you have proven experience leading a team
  • you have created and managed six to eight figure budgets
  • you are a digital native and fluent in the fast evolving digital and social ecosystem in China
  • proven ability to form strategic partnerships, build interpersonal relationships, and respect cultural diversity; ability to be inclusive, collaborative, respectful and support broad organizational interests
