Through a deep understanding of guests needs, cultural references and science of feel solutions, we create innovative products that address our guests’ unmet needs. Our team works collaboratively between the color design, material design, footwear design and 3D design functions. core responsibilities

The Color Designer at lululemon defines color trends and palettes by activity and applies color to their assortment. You will risk review color, provide color direction, and partner with merchandising and design to create end in mind concept vision.

 

  • Research and apply color to product - elevate your business and support class growth.
  • Partner with design and merch teams to drive design forward whilst protecting the base volume business.
  • Be the expert in your product category. Aware of competition and market leads to help drive your category business forward in with a global reach.
  • Provide visual line plan by color to help guide and inform merch buys.
  • Bring design work to life by applying color that is right for its class and fit for product material.
  • Complete the head to toe look so that guest can create their own capsule outfit relevant to palette in apparel.
  • Produce color vision to assortment ensuring head to toe is completed.
  • Manage workflows within the concept department.
  • Deliver expert knowledge and insights to their craft and product class.


 

qualifications

  • 3+ years minimum industry experience is required
  • BA, BFA or BS in Design required (or equivalent)
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite, Excel, Word, Mac platform
  • An understanding in 3D design would be a benefit

Authorization to work in the United States is required for this role. Relocation is not available for this role.


 

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $91,400 - $120,000 USDannually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.

workplace arrangement
