about this team

The Compensation Operations Team supports a wide array of global compensation processes. We focus on the details and ensure that our systems are optimized to support our teams. We partner and collaborate with a variety of teams across the organization to drive continuous improvement and efficiency in our compensation processes with a focus on accuracy and transparency.


core responsibilities

  • Supports various cyclical (monthly/quarterly/annual) retail bonus calculations, ensuring a high level of accuracy while maintaining strict data integrity and confidentiality  
  • Work with other members of the Compensation team to drive process improvement and integrate new workstreams into existing systems
  • Be a trusted resource to our internal stakeholders
  • Partner with P&C Business Partners to proactively support their business groups with compensation queries, processes, wage & bonus recommendations and ensuring competitive market positioning
  • Work with the People Enablement Team to update our systems with current data and compensation program changes as well as facilitating ongoing system enhancements
  • Support in auditing Workday position, compensation, and related workforce data on a recurring basis
  • Support the annual performance management and compensation cycles through data analysis, reporting, troubleshooting, and the development of communications
  • Work with the Store Reporting team to develop, produce and monitor compensation reports visible to our global store population 
  • Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
  • Complete weekly job evaluations for roles across the global organization
  • Assist with broad compensation projects that come up throughout the organization
  • Partner with Retail Operations team to communicate changes to compensation or incentive programs


qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in a compensation role
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field (e.g., finance, HR) 
  • Exposure to HRIS back-end with a curiosity on how the back-end data comes together
  • Experience with Workday, Microsoft Excel and other Office software 
  • Detail-oriented and committed to a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize workload 
  • High level of discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $71,000–$93,800annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
