Global Communications Partnering Manager

About the Role

As a Global Communications Partnering Manager, you are the dedicated communications business partner for one (or more) enterprise functions. You’ll advise functional leaders, build and execute integrated communications and engagement strategies, and ensure their priorities are translated into clear, compelling messages for employees worldwide. You operate as a senior individual contributor—leading complex programs and cross-functional workstreams—while collaborating closely with the Global Internal Communications team to drive consistency, quality, and impact. This role is for someone who can thrive at both ends of the spectrum: someone equally comfortable translating complex, technical concepts into clear, precise messaging, and crafting creative, playful content that engages and delights our audience. In this role, you’ll need to switch seamlessly between analytical thinking and inventive storytelling, ensuring every piece of communication is both accurate and captivating.

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the primary communications partner and trusted advisor for assigned business function(s); diagnose needs, set priorities, and shape annual/quarterly comms roadmaps. Ensure both complex technical initiatives and creative engagement opportunities are effectively prioritized and communicated.
  • Develop and execute integrated internal communications plans that align to business goals and the enterprise editorial calendar (channels may include leader notes, enterprise Townhalls, email, intranet, video, and live/virtual events). Balance precise, fact-based messaging with engaging, innovative storytelling to reach diverse global audiences, including writing creative copy for events and campaigns that capture attention and inspire participation.
  • Create executive-ready materials—speaking notes, talking points, message maps, FAQs, leader toolkits—and coach leaders on effective delivery and engagement. Tailor communications to be both technically accurate and creatively compelling.
  • Build and design PowerPoint presentations and other visual storytelling materials for senior leaders and enterprise-wide initiatives. Use visuals and narratives to simplify complexity while keeping content engaging and memorable.
  • Translate complex strategies, product updates, org changes, and performance results into clear, human, and action-oriented narratives for global audiences.
  • Plan and manage change and issues/crisis communications for your function(s) in partnership with Legal, HR, and Corporate Communications. Ensure communications are accurate, clear, and resonate with employees on both an intellectual and emotional level.
  • Coordinate with regional comms partners to localize and scale programs across time zones and cultures; capture and share best practices.
  • Measure impact using quantitative and qualitative feedback; iterate based on insights and report results to stakeholders. Include evaluation of both message clarity and audience engagement in your measurement approach.
  • Act as an intake and triage point for your function(s) into the Global Internal Communications team, ensuring alignment, brand consistency, and smart prioritization.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and external vendors as needed to deliver high-quality content and experiences on time. Encourage creative solutions while maintaining technical accuracy and business alignment.

What you bring

  • 6–9 years of experience in internal/corporate/employee communications or related fields, ideally in global, matrixed organizations.
  • Proven experience advising senior leaders and influencing decisions through data, insight, and strong relationships.
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills; able to craft both inspirational, playful, and highly technical/change content. Comfortable switching between precise technical communications and creative copywriting, including content for events, campaigns, and engaging internal initiatives.
  • Strong program and event management skills; comfortable running end-to-end comms plans, liaising with event partners, and producing leader forums/and large-scale enterprise-wide employee communication forums.
  • Expertise in building executive-level PowerPoint presentations with clarity, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated expertise in change and crisis communications.
  • Facility with editorial planning, channel strategy, and measurement; adept at simplifying complexity while creating content that resonates.
  • Collaborative, low-ego partner who navigates ambiguity, juggles multiple priorities, and drives momentum.
  • (Nice to have) Experience working across regions/time zones; light design or multimedia skills.
