about this team

The Senior Graphic Designer role sits within the Concept Design Org. Our goal is to elevate the lululemon product with a focus on the art and design of graphics to create a compelling consumer experience at retail. This team will drive graphic excellence through the connection of design, development and manufacturing.


a day in the life

  • ­Graphic Knowledge. Well informed in current graphic trends, art, fashion, typography, design, and sport related products through market research to keep ahead of consumer needs.
  • Design Engineered graphics to compliment the design lines of the product and elevate the technology.
  • Explore and drive new applications to elevate the product seasonally.
  • Enhance lululemon’s brand reputation and effectively articulate brand positioning through Graphic Design.
  • Translate verbal or written instructions into effective and compelling design pieces.
  • Knowledge in Graphic Design, Typography, Placement Graphics, and Illustrative Graphics.
  • Develop bold new, emerging designs, and enhance existing concepts.
  • Manage, maintain, and archive graphics files including graphics, tech packs, and trim briefs.
  • Understand the production process and possess the ability to work with product design and development.
  • Adhere to timelines and meet all deadlines while producing accurate and high-quality work.
  • Could mentor and coach junior designers.


qualifications

  • 7+ years industry experience
  • MA, BA, BFA, or BS in Design
  • Excel in Designing layouts with a great sense of typography
  • Excellent skill in Adobe CC: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Ability to present creative ideas aligned with company’s vision within each pod

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $119,200-$156,500 CADannually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
