a day in the life: what you’ll do

Lead Technology Vendor Management Office (TVMO) including governance frameworks, policies, processes, standards, and rate cards for technology vendor management. Develop technology vendor management strategy and Technology Vendor Management Office workforce strategies. Develop and drive the overall vendor management strategy in collaboration with stakeholders and leadership. Formulate short-term and long-term vendor management plans to ensure the optimal selection, performance, and relationship management of technology vendors. Conduct assessments of existing and potential technology vendors to evaluate capabilities, performance, and alignment with business objectives. Lead the vendor selection process, considering factors such as cost-effectiveness, reliability, scalability, and innovation. Lead development and maintenance of dashboards and reporting. Partner with Procurement to negotiate vendor contracts and agreements. Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to draft and review vendor contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and other contractual documents. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure vendor performance and adherence to SLAs, with support from procurement. Review and analyze vendor performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimize vendor relationships. Develop strategies to mitigate risks associated with vendor relationships and technology procurement. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies in vendor interactions and contracts. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics (e.g., CSATs, DEI spend, vendor financial health, risk management, etc.). Lead monitoring and reporting of tech vendor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics (e.g., CSATs, DEI spend, vendor financial, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM). Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and executives. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships across teams.

 

Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day/week.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

 

qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree Information Technology, Business or a related field plus ten (10) years (5 of which is progressive, post-baccalaureate) of experience in program/vendor/supplier management.

 

Of the required experience must have 5 years of experience in all of the following (which may be gained concurrently):

  • Managing and building vendor management team.
  • Working in third party compliance.

 

Of the required experience must have 5 years of experience as a direct supervisor.

 

Of the required experience must have 5 years of experience in all of the following (which may be gained concurrently):

  • Vendor management tools including ServiceNow vendor workspace.
  • Contingent labor management tools including Fieldglass.
  • Contract lifecycle management tools including Coupa or Ariba

 

Of the required experience must have 5 years of experience building or leading a Vendor Management Office (VMO) within a matrixed organization.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $206,495.00 - $226,495.00 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
