We’re looking for you. Join us

About this team
The Product Design team helps create joyful end-to-end user-centered experiences for lululemon's guests and educators across a wide variety of digital platforms. You will be part of a collaborative product team with product managers, developers and other agile team members that will bring new guest facing digital experiences to life as well as help to optimize existing digital touchpoints within the guest engagement landscape.

About this role
As a Product Designer on the Guest Engagement Technology team, you will engage and inspire our online guests to discover our retail stores, services, local assortments, as well as enable those guests to plan a store visit. This may include online store locator tools, store listing pages, as well as in-store booking experiences. You will be responsible and engaged during each phase of the product design lifecycle from journey mapping and user flows to beautiful and thoughtfully designed interfaces ready for development hand-off and documentation.

A day in the life:
  • Design and optimize store listing pages, store locator tools, and in-store booking experiences for lululemon's North American website from initial business requirement creation to visual quality assurance (VQA) and final documentation
  • Clearly communicate design rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and be open to their feedback
  • Collaborate with our Data & Analytics team to ensure we are gleaning insights on opportunity areas and new experiences are being measured, iterated, and optimized
  • Apply and champion design thinking principles
  • Partner with the research team to plan, design and in some cases, conduct research to inform your design decisions.
  • Be a collaborative, systems-thinker that continues to find ways to evolve and improve how we work
  • Deliver guest experiences that meet or beat success criteria, driving measurable results such as higher conversion, higher engagement, lifetime value, etc.
  • Leverage and contribute to the lululemon design system, in some cases crafting everything from component level pixels to documentation for implementation and wide-spread usage
  • Contribute to all scrum team ceremonies, representing design
  • Provide support and feedback to design teammates to cultivate designs and culture that feel harmonious

  • BS or BA degree (or equivalent experience) in Human-Computer Interaction, UX/UI/Design Diploma or Degree, or a related area
  • 5+ years experience designing end-to-end responsive websites (iOS a plus)
  • Expert-level knowledge of Sketch, Invision and/or Figma
  • Experience designing projects with a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience designing and prototyping workflows using Sketch & Invision or similar products
  • Experience creating UX artifacts (e.g. IA, journey maps, user flows, wireframes, etc.)
  • A strong curiosity and desire to learn about and empathize with our community of designers and developers
  • A portfolio showing your work

Must haves:
  • Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results
  • Communicates with honesty and kindness, and creates the space for others to do the same
  • Leads with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure
  • Fosters connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships
  • Integrates fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take themselves too seriously
