About this team

Within the Digital team, eCommerce function is responsible for creating and executing strategies that deliver a world-class experience for guests across our owned eCommerce websites across our Asia Pacific markets… across multiple languages and multiple currencies from Auckland to Seoul. It requires a deep understanding of the local market requirements, a highly-analytics mindset, and extensive knowledge of the technical levers, processes, and trading actions that can be harnessed to deliver both top-line revenue growth as well tight control of costs to deliver maximum contribution to the APAC P&L


A day in the life 
  • Define and implement a multi-year Korea Marketplace Strategy in partnership with the Korea, Asia Pacific & International Leadership.
  • Manage and develop a high performing Korea Marketplace team to manage day-to-day operations and ensure a seamless experience for our guests.  
  • Partner with the internal business & technology teams to help identify, develop, and expand marketplace channels across Korea as a key pillar of online growth. 
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of various Korea Ecommerce marketplace platforms, including owning relationships with various marketplaces or marketplace partners/agencies. 
  • Work with local teams to manage P&L; setting, managing, and reporting against multi-year plans, budgets, new marketplace launches and critical stage gates and metrics
  • Formulate and implement Ecommerce marketplace and marketing strategies to increase maximum brand visibility and sales for different platforms. 
  • Collaborate and align on digital partnerships, marketing and promotional opportunities and the overall marketing plan to drive brand awareness, consideration and trial through our 3rd party marketplaces. 
  • Review the performance of all marketplace channels to optimize category performance, partnering closely with merchandising teams to ensure a finely-tuned assortment and product mix that inspires and converts. 
  • Facilitate and drive E-commerce system enhancements/integration between internal and marketplace platforms.


Qualifications:
  • BA in business, or other relevant and applicable field 
  • 5+ years’ experience in e-commerce or related spaces
  • Have a deep understanding and knowledge of APAC marketplace landscape, trends, partners, and agencies in-region.
  • Proven experience in launching APAC marketplaces and managing multiple channels within a retail and/or DTC environment.
  • Strong leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and foster growth in direct reports.
  • Strong core consulting skills (demonstrated track record of quality delivery, interpersonal and cross-functional relationship skills)
