about the team:


The Strategy & Insights team is a trusted partner in the development of long and short range strategies, working cross-functionally with the entire business on key strategic initiatives. Within that, the Insights Centre of Excellence is responsible for bringing a comprehensive view to market, guest and product insights, drawing on multiple sources and data to answer strategic enterprise level questions. Our team enables strategy partners by designing, conducting, and analyzing consumer behaviour and the competitive landscape to deliver a strong fact base of insights for leadership decision-making. Both qualitative and quantitative in nature, as well as spanning insight and foresight, the COE holds a variety of roles and responsibilities and is a new and growing team.


a day in the life:


  • You are an expert in market research and adept at uncovering new opportunities and insights across key business areas to enable our enterprise business strategies. 
  •  You have a strong understanding of the business needs and can translate a brief into sophisticated qualitative or quantitative research design to produce actionable insights. 
  • You can analyze data quickly and efficiently and synthesize for executive decision making. 
  • You lead multiple research projects independently and effectively enroll the key business partners in business outcomes. 
  • You enjoy primary research (i.e. interviewing guests, educators) and/or being in the field ~10-20% of the time.


qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree required, MBA of advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of consumer experience at a strategy consulting firm or 6+ years of consumer market research experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint & Excel Experience developing sharp insights that have direct impact on strategic outcomes.
  • Comfortable analyzing and synthesizing data.
  • Proven analytical thinker and motivated self-starter.

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500-$135,900 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
