about this team

The Global Brand Studio casting team sources and curates the faces, voices and creators who bring our product to life across PDP, social and campaigns. Small, fast and obsessively tasteful, we own scouting, roster curation and the contracts and logistics that turn a booking into work. We partner with Creative Ops and Studio Ops for production logistics and collaborate with Brand Marketing and Brand Creative to ensure every selection serves the creative concept while honoring our casting ethos, commercial priorities and the marketing brief.

a day in the life: what you’ll do

The Global Casting Manager drives execution of our global casting strategy across studio digital and ecomm, social and campaign work. You will own how our Casting ID is put into practice: briefing scouts and agencies, curating the priority roster, and turning briefs into booked talent. You will build reliable rhythms with Sports Marketing, Creative Ops and Studio Ops to align ambassadors, availability and production logistics. You will hire, coach and hold the casting team to high standards, run the scouting and conversion pipeline, manage external partners and budgets, and measure roster and campaign performance so casting decisions clearly link to creative outcomes and business goals.

Relationship building (internal and external)

  • Build trustworthy, repeatable rhythms with Sports Marketing so ambassador availability, activations and performance feed directly into casting decisions. Sports Marketing secures ambassadors; you translate availability into creative timing and usage.
  • Partner with Brand Marketing and Brand Creative to translate briefs into precise casting criteria that balance creative intent with commercial priorities.
  • Collaborate with Creative Ops and Studio Ops on production logistics and scheduling to prevent last-minute availability or paperwork surprises.
  • Own agency and external casting director relationships: brief, hire, calibrate and hold partners to our Casting ID and delivery standards. Negotiate fees and usage with clear ROI thinking.

Creative strategic thinking

  • Define and socialise the Casting ID, making it actionable across PDP, social and campaign creative.
  • Translate business and marketing imperatives into casting strategies that keep the brand fresh and competitive across run, train, yoga, studio, golf, tennis and sport lifestyle.
  • Source and program pro talent and influential creators who embody our brand pillars: honest, fun, bold. Maintain a prioritized roster and design first-right-of-refusal practices for priority talent.
  • Use audience and performance data to inform talent choices: profile influencers by reach and engagement, and test new talent through trial bookings to validate creative and commercial lift.

Operational excellence

  • Own the scouting and conversion pipeline: virtual callbacks, targeted scouting, creator trials and conversion plans for contract talent.
  • Maintain a clean roster database and dashboards tracking availability, usage history, audience metrics and cost per booking. Turn insights into roster optimization and budget discipline.
  • Work with our Ops Casting Coordinator, who sits on the casting team, to manage contracts, POs and usage-right paperwork. Define clear hand-off timelines and standards so bookings, releases and invoicing are completed on time and without friction.
  • Manage casting budgets, negotiate buyouts and license agreements, and keep spend predictable and tied to creative outcomes.

Team leadership

  • Hire, mentor and set development plans for direct reports. Raise the team’s speed, taste calibration and executional standards.
  • Lead regular talent slate reviews and coaching sessions; surface gaps and champion solutions before they escalate.
  • Create a culture of ownership and curiosity where the team proactively scouts, tests and refines talent choices in service of creative briefs and business goals.

qualifications

  • 10+ years of talent casting experience across photo, video and social content, including working with pro athletic talent and influential creators in sport and lifestyle spaces
  • Proven track record working with talent agencies, casting directors and management companies; ability to brief and manage external partners to creative standards
  • Strong commercial instincts and hands-on experience with contracts, licensing, buyouts and negotiation strategy
  • Deep understanding of production workflows and how casting integrates into creative timelines, fittings and PDP needs
  • Experience leading small teams with a focus on rapid execution, taste calibration and development plans
  • Excellent cross-functional stakeholder skills; proven ability to translate creative requirements into operational plans and get buy-in

must haves

  • Acknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life.
  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results.
  • Communicate with honesty and kindness and create the space for others to do the same.
  • Lead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure.
  • Foster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships.
  • Integrate fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesn’t take yourself too seriously.
