Across lululemon, teams use samples as critical business tools to support making informed business decisions, growing brand awareness and creating digital content. The Sample Operations Team makes this possible by managing the critical steps in the lifecycle of the sampling process, from ordering to exiting.



a day in the life: what you’ll do:


The Manager, Sample Production Operations, is responsible for overseeing all internal use product program portfolios. They also lead the development and growth of the IUP team, both functionally and individually as members of the team.



key responsibilities:


- Manage the operations of the Internal Use Product (IUP) program through systems and technology; optimizing the ordering, submission, distribution and invoicing of IUP partner orders.

- Manage and oversee the maintenance, creation and integrity of IUP databases, tools and calendar.

- Perform data gathering and analysis to produce KPI reporting and inform strategic improvements to the IUP process

- Collaborate with the senior manager, global sample operations on strategy and future process enhancements regarding the internal use product program.

- Collaborate and provide expertise to the LLO Sample Production team to streamline the IUP program from a vendor management perspective.

- Provide guidance and leadership to the IUP team regarding their key roles and responsibilities, giving valuable feedback and coaching where needed.

- People lead through our Sample & Operations Support (SOS) Program, which provides insight for retail employees into the Vancouver-based SSCs.

- Represent the IUP program large scale projects and senior leadership directives.

- Oversee the sample management for the North America styling team, providing guidance and direction on physical and digital sample organization.




qualifications


- 5-8 years of experience in an operations-based role, special consideration will be given to those with a background in apparel production.

- Experience leading a team of individual contributors with various levels of experience

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify gaps in processes and work diligently to improve them

- Lead with a solutions-based mindset, living in possibility in every moment

- Strong Excel, Power Query, Power BI and Database skills

- A clear, concise and confident communicator that can adapt communication styles to suit the need of your audience.




Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from  $107,500-$141,100 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
