In-person collaboration and office-based work is necessary and important for the role. Work is performed onsite, 5 days per week depending on role requirements.


About This Team:

The lululemon labs team is a core contributor to the Product Innovation engine at lululemon. Leading with the Science of Feel, the team supports with human performance and perception testing to drive actionable and effective feedback into mainline and Advanced Concepts products. In our state of the art lab, the Workshop, we go beyond classic research and development methodologies and into the realm of possibility for both body and mind within all of the places that our guests & lululemon choose to play together. We need you to elevate product creation through the very best in testing services and knowledge generation across Product Innovation and the wider business. 

A Day In The Life:

•  Supporting testing coordination including participant recruitment, space booking and compensation

• Assist research data piloting and collection across biomechanics, physiological, quantitative and qualitative protocols. 

• Raw material testing

• Supporting with data analysis, report creation and sharebacks to cross functional partners    

•Conducting literature reviews

•Supporting with new tools and processes to elevate the efficacy and efficiency of research practices within product innovation


Qualifications:


Undergraduate in applied research related field (kinesiology, sports technology, materials science, engineering, etc)

You have experience with collecting human and/or Raw Material testing data, such as, data collection, analysis and interpretation for insight generation

You have skills in qualitative and quantitative research methods.

You are a habitual scientist, a great communicator and are passionate about joining a commercial environment

You’re a pro at working cross functionality

Compensation and Benefits Package  

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $55,300- $62,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
