about this team

The core mandate of the Supply Chain Product Management (PdM) team is to solve complex Supply Chain challenges by operating as a thought partner to the business and delivering tangible software Products across every stage of the Product lifecycle. Our team is critical in lululemon’s pursuit to fuel growth, drive innovation, and deliver on our promise to improve the wellbeing of people and minimize our environmental impact. To meet our Supply Chain stakeholder needs, we partner closely with operational leaders, Technology counterparts, engineering, project leaders, and program management to build the Product strategy and roadmap as well as deliver high impact software Products that enable leading Supply Chain capabilities.

 

a day in the life: what you’ll do

In this role you will bring to life the Product strategy for large-scale & large-complexity technical Supply Chain Products. As a team leader, you will collaborate with Product Management counterparts, project leaders, Technology and Supply Chain teams to translate the Product roadmap into actionable go-live plans, coordinating with dependent Product teams to ensure comprehensive, end-to-end implementation and high-quality software delivery.

  • Develop and manage a highly motivated team of Product Managers and Product Analysts directly within North America or other geographies.
  • Collaborate to translate the strategic Product roadmap into actionable go-live plans in alignment with AOP strategic initiatives.
  • Articulate Product features, business requirements, user impact, and value delivered from features clearly and concisely to diverse audiences and cross-functional partners.
  • Champion the “PdM rules of engagement" collaborating with stakeholders to involve Product during discovery and planning.
  • Analyze performance metrics and user insights to recommend feature improvements.
  • Prioritize new and backlog features for delivery teams by balancing tradeoffs between Supply Chain needs, complexity, addressing gaps in current Product portfolio, and dependencies with other cross-functional strategic Product initiatives.
  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of Agile Product releases, ensuring delivery milestones and KPIs are being met.
  • Be an advisor to teams operating in Agile delivery; take a leadership role in minimum viable Product (MVP) definition, sprint ceremonies, key decisions and issue resolution while identifying process improvements to improve delivery quality and speed.
  • Serve as the key liaison between internal lululemon teams and external partners (vendors, 3Pls, suppliers, etc.) from concept to delivery to maintain alignment, transparency, and momentum throughout the Product lifecycle.

 

qualifications

  • Location: Local or near to the business' "center of gravity" (Vancouver or Columbus), specific location at the discretion of the hiring manager.
  • Experience: Product Management: 8 - 10 years
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline; advanced degree preferred; Product Management certification preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering and deploying large and complex technical products in an agile environment.
  • Strong business, planning, and organizing skills; including the ability to provide innovative ideas to leaders, communicate value, gain approval and implement effectively.
  • Demonstrated executive-level presence with a proven ability to collaborate with and influence peers, colleagues, and leadership.
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience leading cross-functional teams, prioritizing work, managing change, developing, mentoring, and coaching personnel.
  • Strong critical thinking, logical structuring, attention to detail, and excellent analytical and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Excellent facilitation and issue resolution skills that involve conflicting goals; ability to drive consensus.
  • Capacity to drive insights from quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines and budgets.
  • Has a deep desire to learn and improve by seeking, accepting and acting on productive feedback.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general supply chain capabilities, technology, and metrics.
  • Experience in agile delivery methods and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, etc.), and frameworks for technical products (initiatives, features, epics, user stories).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $158,900 - $208,500annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
