about this team

The North America Community team is responsible for the creation and execution of our community strategy, inclusive of relationship management, product seeding, activations and campaign activity across the entire NA store fleet, campuses, and key cities. The broader team is comprised of the NA Events, NA Community and NA Sports marketing organizations who work in partnership with myriad cross-functional partners to build meaningful local relationships, to engage our ambassadors and talent through relevant activations and to further lululemon’s commitments within diversity and inclusion.


core responsibilities

Market Expert

  • Be the most informed lululemon team member in your market—deeply attuned to local fitness, wellness, culture, and community.
  • Identify and share market trends, gaps, and opportunities to inform business decisions.
  • Build inclusive relationships that reflect the full diversity of your market.


Brand Champion

  • Lead local activation of global and North American brand campaigns—making them culturally relevant and high-impact.
  • Act as a strategic bridge between stores and brand—connecting every guest’s journey to how lululemon can uniquely support them.
  • Strategically design inclusive guest journey and invitation plans to drive awareness and participation.
  • Create buzzworthy activations that position lululemon stores as vibrant community hubs.
  • Ensure guests clearly see the brand and product connection behind each activation.
  • Build strong relationships through regular connection, sweat, and alignment with lululemon’s vision and calendar.


Ambassador Amplification

  • Partner with Community Manager, Regional Manager and Store Managers to support all phases of the Ambassador Journey including selection, onboarding, engagement and offboarding to ensure regional Ambassador roster is inclusive and reflects the diversity the market
  • Create opportunities for Ambassadors to represent lululemon through hyperlocal programming and brand campaigns.
  • Coach store teams to actively engage and sweat with Ambassadors, fostering two-way relationships.


Store Team Empowerment

  • Show up as a consistent, accessible, and trusted partner to drive community engagement from store teams.
  • Establish a strategic rhythm of visits, sweats, and touchpoints that inspire local connection.
  • Empower local Retail teams to lead grassroots initiatives with confidence and clarity.
  • Provide timely, actionable feedback to the Regional Manager and Community leaders on wins, needs, and coaching opportunities.
  • Celebrate teammates and cross-functional partners often—fueling a culture of appreciation and impact.


qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience building community, partnerships, or brand presence
  • Track record of executing events and programs that inspire local engagement
  • Experience coaching and influencing retail or cross-functional teams
  • Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated passion for inclusion, diversity, equity, and action

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,100 - $106,500 USD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
