about this role


The Manager, EU Ecommerce will be responsible for setting and executing strategies for the e-commerce experience in Europe (excluding UK and DE), in order to strengthen and scale our business in these regions. This role will co-ordinate cross-functional plans and execute a holistic Digital trading plan to deliver against financial and brand KPIs. 


 

a day in the life


  • Grow and scale our e-commerce operation in Europe; devise and implement strategies that will help us achieve our multi-year goals for the markets
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the regional business in partnership with existing Ecommerce functions; focusing on catalogue maintenance, merchandising and content tactics
  • Set country-specific trading plans and objectives, using local guest insight and internal data, communicating progress regularly to relevant leaders
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency of merchandising operation and guest-facing experience in partnership with Digital Product and Technology
  • Lead relationship with cross-border shipping vendor to drive growth and capitalise on opportunity
  • Own revenue performance and other ecommerce KPIs of the regions; analysing, interpreting and acting on performance data to grow the business.
  • Work with Finance and Ecommerce leadership to set country-level forecasts based on quarterly activity.
  • Work with Digital Marketing, CRM, Omnichannel and Operations to inform functional plans and ensure alignment with Ecommerce objectives
  • Partner with INTL Digital Strategy function to evaluate success and advise on future roadmaps



qualifications, skills and experiences


  • Comprehensive knowledge of e-commerce/digital industry and hands-on experience of growing brands D2C businesses in a range of European countries.
  • Experience managing in a large matrix organisation, ability to adapt communication and wear several hats, plus experience of growing/developing teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to define, drive and deliver on customer and financial goals.
  • Confident in devising strategies and project managing a diverse range of stakeholders and deliverables
  • Team-oriented with ability to effectively communicate priorities and collaborate with partners across the organization at all levels.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated passion for all things Digital.
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred, not essential

  • In-person collaboration is important, and much of the role can be performed remotely. Work is performed at both the SSC office and home office every week.
