About this team

The importance of being well situated to respond cybersecurity needs required to support strategic business initiatives has never been greater. The Cybersecurity Services team supports and ensures alignment of security guardrails required to enable lululemon’s strategic objectives while delivering Cybersecurity program objectives that protect the business and enable continued growth. We are searching for a Solution Architect to join our team. You will support and guide development teams implementing your solutions and educate and advise any technical resource on the projects. You will be designing the building blocks of our short and long term business driven technology roadmaps, and providing input to domain architects and technology leaders.

 

A day in the life:

The Solution Architect partners with delivery teams to architect, design, and build flexible, scalable, and resilient applications and services that can more easily adapt to future business needs.   


  • Leads the business/functional architecture and strategy for solutions in a manner consistent with lululemon Technology’s cybersecurity enterprise architecture, applying common frameworks and re-usable components
  • Helps ensure the operational platforms and associated interfacing data and systems have been properly architected from and end-to-end perspective to meet the functional and non-functional needs of the business and provides delivery oversight to ensure execution is aligned with the original design and governance framework
  • Brings conceptual design down to a level of detail that can be transformed into an implementation plan for successful execution
  • Ensures as-requested functionality gets translated into as-designed solutions within the context of timeline, resources, org structure and quality 
  • Works closely with domain architects and development teams to support and guide solution implementations and acts as an advisor for technical resources on projects
  • Develops and maintains current and future-state architecture models
  • Stays abreast of industry best practices, technologies, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies; summarizing and presenting recommendations based on findings when relevant
  • Manages technical debt and risks
  • Produces and presents solution options to project leadership with clear definitions of the benefits and trade-offs of each proposal
  • Participates in and presents at architecture design reviews and leads the governance activities for a given solution within Cyber

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years of architecture, network management, technology leadership, or related experience
  • Understanding and ability to work within architectural frameworks
  • Successful track record delivering quality results on complex cross-functional projects
  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively at all levels of the organization

Compensation and Benefits Package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from  annually 

$164,000-205,000; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
