about this team
The Global Planning team are the financial stewards of Product serving as the liaison between the Product and Financial plans. Reporting directly to the sr. manager of margin planning, this position is responsible for minimizing ineffective air freight usage on Purchase Orders, while ensuring the optimization of inventory supply to maximize sales. This position will work to identify air to ocean mode change opportunities for both full and split POs and assist MP&A teams in executing and tracking changes. This will initially take place as part of the seasonal reflow process with the aim of reworking to a bi-weekly schedule. Analytical skills, teamwork and clear communication are essential. You are an essential part of the cross functional team collaborating with Merchandise Planning, Merchandising and Order Management. You have razor sharp attention to detail but also able to think big picture.

• Analyze future on order POs with opportunity to split portion to ocean freight
• Monitor mode change requests in the POC tracker to track new air freight usage
• Understanding of demand variability by class and style and segmentation
• Improve visibility into mode usage after PR release and before PO Creation by season

• Expert knowledge of Excel is required.
• Excellent team player as well as the ability to work independently.

The typical hiring range for this position is from $66,000-$86,600 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
