This role is part of the technology leadership team accountable for the strategy and delivery of Retail Technology Operations.

Our team is fast-paced and taking on exciting new initiatives to support a fast-growing business. Global Technology Support & Operations focuses on all things technology within our business including hardware, software, and monitoring and alerting on systems. We love strategic, resourceful, and innovative people that excel at communication, IT (Information Technology) and operations.


a day in the life

The Senior Architect, Retail Operations is responsible for the vision and overall design of devices, tools, and processes that support our technology ecosystem at retail locations. Success is primarily determined by your commitment in building and maintaining artifacts, artifacts and more artifacts which enables storytelling, enrollment and influence across the enterprise.   

You have acted as a technical lead in hardware and system deployment projects where you’ve gained hands on experience using the latest and greatest technology to support highly automated, zero touch solutions that reduce complexity and get the job done securely and quickly.

Your experience working on teams responsible for end point and infrastructure management, networking or cybersecurity will set you up to collaborate with these same times in building simple, scalable and efficient solutions.   

You’ll work with Domain and Enterprise architecture leads in mapping existing capabilities and future states, analyzing the gaps and creating a roadmap to achieve the future state.   You’ll also act as a guide for engineers and delivery teams in implementing solutions.


specific accountabilities include

  • Create and maintain an artifact library of current state and future state of the responsible capabilities and related systems.
  • Act as technical lead in developing project requirements and success criteria, along with guiding the design throughout the development lifecycle with a strong focus in delivering through documentation.
  • Produce and present content at Architecture Design Reviews with a focus on outlining benefit and value proposition of proposed designs and keeping security, scalability, integration points.
  • Collaborate with technology partners in ensuring device management best practices, zero-touch system deployments and compliance with security and privacy standards.
  • Actively seeks knowledge and organization context and applies learnings to architecture solutions with a focus on collaborating with application, infrastructure and networking teams that support our Retail business. 


qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Microsoft Certified End Point Administrator
  • JAMF Certified Admin (JAMF 200) or JAMF Certified Expert (JAMF 400).
  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified IT Professional (ACITP).
  • ITIL certification for operational processes and service delivery.


experience

  • Hands-on experience with managing compliance, patch management and security best practices in Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Entra, Group Policy, DNS, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services (Azure, AWS, JAMF) with a focus on device, identity and configuration management of large-scale hardware deployments.
  • Experience designing and managing networking environments, including routing, switching, and firewalls with a focus on high availability and low latency designs in distributed systems.
  • Advanced experience and knowledge of IT operations, including observability, monitoring/alerting, security, and identity management
  • Hands-on experience in scripting (Ruby, Bash, Python, AppleScript, PowerShell) to support automated device deployments.
  • Knowledge of zero-touch deployment, configuration profiles, and device enrollment using (JAMF, Microsoft Intune and Autopilot)
  • Experience with iOS devices, Windows/Apple laptops, patch management and app distribution.

nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Meraki networks, including wireless, SD-WAN, and security appliances.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar.
  • Meraki certifications (e.g., Meraki Solutions Specialist).
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE).

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $123,500-$162,100 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and subject to program eligibility requirements.
