About this team
As the APAC Digital Acceleration, Senior Manager, you will serve as a partner, confidant, and execution driver enabling the VP to focus on crafting and advancing the digital strategy for the region. This role is pivotal in ensuring the alignment, clarity, and effectiveness of the APAC digital team’s efforts, as well as fostering seamless collaboration with cross-functional, global and regional stakeholders. You will transform high-level ideas into actionable frameworks that activate and energize teams. Your expertise in developing plans to live into our strategy and operational execution will accelerate our Digital presence in existing markets and how we should be entering new markets both through evolving our direct-to-customer model as well as alternative operating models.

A day in the life: what you’ll do

  1. Strategic Partnership:
    1. Partner closely with the VP of Digital to shape and articulate the APAC digital strategy.
    2. Serve as a sounding board for strategic decisions and initiatives, providing critical insights and recommendations.
    3. Articulate APAC’s unique digital needs, ensuring they are understood and prioritized across both cross functional teams in region and our global partners in North America.

  2. Framework Development & Communication:
    1. Translate complex and ambiguous ideas into clear, structured, and compelling frameworks that provide direction for the digital team and adjacent stakeholders.
    2. Create executive-level presentations, strategy briefs, and other communication materials to articulate strategic priorities and progress.
    3. Develop compelling narratives that educate and enroll partners in APAC’s digital priorities.

  3. Leadership Enablement:
    1. Work alongside the VP to set the agenda and cadence for the extended leadership team, ensuring alignment on key dates, meetings, and deliverables.
    2. Monitor progress on strategic initiatives and proactively identify opportunities to optimize execution.
    3. Foster collaboration and accountability across the digital team and broader organizational stakeholders.

  4. Operational Excellence:
    1. Oversee the preparation and follow-up for critical leadership forums, ensuring meaningful outcomes and clarity of next steps.
    2. Drive operational efficiency by identifying and resolving roadblocks to the successful execution of initiatives.
    3. Act as the central point of coordination for cross-functional and cross-regional efforts, ensuring seamless execution of strategic priorities.

  5. Special Projects:
    1. Lead or support strategic projects and initiatives as required, balancing tactical execution with a broader strategic lens.
    2. Provide ad hoc problem-solving and analytical support to address emerging opportunities and challenges.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    1. 8+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar role with exposure to digital and e-commerce functions.
    2. Experience in the sportswear, retail, or technology industry is a plus.

  • Strategic Thinking:
    1. Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex concepts into actionable strategies and frameworks.
    2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Digital Savvy:
    1. Understanding of digital business models, platforms, and technologies, with the ability to connect digital trends across our diverse APAC markets to business priorities.

  • Communication & Influence:
    1. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for crafting compelling narratives and influencing senior stakeholders.
    2. Proven ability to engage and align diverse teams across function, markets, and at globabl level.

  • Executional Rigor:
    1. Track record of delivering high-quality outcomes on time and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
    2. Detail-oriented with a knack for identifying and addressing operational inefficiencies.
