about this team

The Senior, Social Media Manager, leads the strategy and execution of lululemon’s always-on social presence. This person is responsible for building a consistent, culturally relevant, and brand-distinct presence across our global brand channels. From setting our content pillars, setting the editorial agenda to real-time content, they will drive how lululemon shows up daily, outside of campaign moments, to inspire, engage, and grow our community. 


They will partner closely with the Global Director of Social and the Social Creative Director as well as cross-functional teams, regions, and agencies to shape an always-on strategy that balances proactive storytelling with responsive, social-first content. The ideal candidate will be deeply fluent in platform behaviors, social-first storytelling, and the role social plays in discovery, connection, and brand relevance. 

 

core responsibilities

  • Define and lead lululemon’s global always-on social strategy in partnership with global brand, creative, and media teams, ensuring our daily social presence is consistent, engaging, and reflective of our brand voice and priorities
  • Partner with regional social teams to ensure local relevance within the global always-on approach, facilitating two-way feedback and alignment across markets
  • Build and maintain our editorial calendar, mapping out key cultural, seasonal, and brand moments to inform content planning and creation, in partnership with our campaign teams
  • Work with creative and production teams to develop a steady drumbeat of social-first assets—balancing evergreen storytelling, platform trends, and reactive moments
  • Partner with our social analyst to develop regular reporting to measure performance of always-on content, translating insights into recommendations that improve future creative and channel strategy
  • Collaborate with platform partners and external agencies to identify emerging trends and innovative formats that can enhance our everyday presence
  • Contribute to the evolution of lululemon’s global social function by helping establish best practices, workflows, and consistent ways of working within and outside our team
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in always-on content strategy, bringing deep knowledge of social behaviors, culture, and audience expectations
  • Mentor and manage team members to support with the execution of our always-on content strategy

 

qualifications

  • 10+ years of working in social, with a specific focus on integrated brand campaigns.
  • Proven experience co-creating strategies that support a brand, product, and consumer objectives.
  • Aware of the latest trends and best practices in social, digital marketing, measurement, and technology.
  • Relationship-building skills to work with numerous internal/external teams and partners.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proven ability to build innovative social strategies that line up with business and brand goals. 
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $130,800-$171,700 USDannually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and, subject to program eligibility requirements.
