About this team

  

The Global Network and Asset Protection Infrastructure Operations team ensures all lululemon sites and team members have uninterrupted, fast, and secure connectivity globally. The team ensures video surveillance, access control, and other asset protection systems are available and running optimally to prevent security threats, control entry, and provide the tooling necessary to manage asset management & security issues.

 

As Sr Technology Manager for Global Network Operations and Asset Protection Infrastructure, you will be a key leader in the technology organization and will help develop and drive the vision for network & AP infrastructure operational support and delivery for a business that is rapidly expanding across the globe. This is a key leadership role in the technology organization, helping to drive the advancement of our technologies and team. You will guide your team to adopt architecture and engineering best practices and create processes to drive consistency, efficiency, and quality solutions across the enterprise. You will establish cross-functional partnerships with our international teams, lines of business, and enterprise technology teams understand needs and coordinate delivery of new capabilities/support improvements.

 

A day in the life:

  • Drive the vision for advancing global network operations and asset protection infrastructure,
  • Manage the network operations and reliability engineering team, providing technical expertise in network reliability engineering for multi-cloud networks, branch route/switch, and wireless technologies.
  • Manage the asset protection infrastructure team, providing technical expertise in reliability engineering for video surveillance and access control systems, globally
  • Lead the operations team in monitoring and tuning the configurations for optimal performance, scalability, security, resilience, and sustainability
  • Manage infrastructure deployments; refreshing hardware & software to keep the environment current. Follow enterprise change management protocols.
  • Lead incident and problem management, working with the team, managed service providers, and cross-functional partners. Be proactive with communications and collaboration to drive efficient resolutions.
  • Manage global circuits – provisioning to meet standards, optimizing contracts, optimize billing
  • Manage key vendors and managed service providers, tasked with site deployments, continuous monitoring and alerting, incident and problem management response. Create healthy partnerships with common goals to deliver value to lululemon. Sponsor quarterly business reviews. Manage contract renewals
  • Inspire a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Focus on automation, advanced observability tooling, and reliability engineering practices to improve quality deployment and operations.
  • Build, lead and scale an exceptionally talented team of business analysts, project managers, engineers, architects.
  • Partners with enterprise architecture, PMO, and business teams to implement the optimal technology solutions.
  • Manage large complex projects and teams; effectively negotiate/influence others; communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing.
  • Manage budgets and operational spend. Define and garner agreement to annual budgets and operating plans. Keep leadership and stakeholders updated on progress, risks, and issues. Work together to ensure key capabilities are delivered with quality and meet business objectives.


Qualifications:

 

  • 8-10 years of experience enabling key business priorities through the successful delivery & support of technology.
  • 6+ years as a people leader overseeing a broad range of talent across multiple work locations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading high performance technology team responsible for implementing, enhancing, maintaining networking solutions in Fortune 500, global company.
  • Proven track record in building & sustaining high performing team capable of driving technical modernization efforts in parallel to delivering on business commitments across multiple delivery formats.
  • 8+ years experience with engineering leadership experience with network management (Aviatrix, Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Zscaler), SRE (Solarwinds, Splunk)
  • Engineering leadership experience with video surveillance (Solink, Genetech) and access control systems (Feenics, Keyscan)
  • Able to provide evidence of building strong, cohesive teams with emphasis on inclusion, diversity, equity, individual growth, and structures to support team development.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex delivery initiatives and delivering meaningful results on time and on budget with limited direction.
  •  Proven experience in a dynamic, Agile/Lean environment with proven ability to develop, communicate and gain consensus on a technical product roadmap for corporate functions.
  • Experience managing priorities with key stakeholders & vendors with evidence of using strong analytical skills and supporting examples of metrics.
  •  Budget management expertise: previous experience directly overseeing CAPEX & OPEX investments to ensure efficient spend management.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from  $158,900-198,00 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.
