core responsibilities

Build and extend web and microservice applications in a cloud environment. Ensure that customer facing applications are designed to be highly available, observable, and durable via software engineering best practices. Work with Product and Project Owners to understand end-user requirements, formulate user stories and then translate those into pragmatic and effective technical solutions. Work closely with onsite and remote frontend, backend and operations engineers to ensure deliverables are well-documented, secure and resilient.

 

Telecommuting permitted up to 1 day/week. 

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

 

qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 2 years of work experience in the IT industry. 

 

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Unit testing frameworks.
  • Software development fundamentals including automated testing, source control (Git), continuous integration in addition to continuous delivery and deployment.
  • Experience in integrating web frontends with complex multi-tier applications.
  • Developing, deploying, scaling and maintaining applications in cloud-based services and service oriented architectures.
  • Application development, design, and support in Java/J2EE, jQuery, Ajax, JSP, JSTL, XML or XSLT.
  • Solution development across Sling, OSGI, or JCR.

 

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:

  • Contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
  • Coordination on CI / CD pipelines using GitLab or Jenkins.
  • Coding, Maintenance and support across SQL, PLSQL, or OSB.

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $149,240.00 - $169,240.00annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

workplace arrangement 

In-person collaboration and connection are important to our culture. Work is performed onsite, minimum 4 days per week.
