about this team

Finance - DC Inventory Control: Work at the center of our business, create and improve processes and controls, maintain data integrity, reporting and analysis for our inventory in Retail and Distribution.


core responsibilities

  • Lead system upgrade execution of requirements gathering, testing, and deployment for the finance system upgrade from a DC and inventory control perspective.
  • Serve as product owner for inventory intelligence across ongoing projects and change requests, defining expected outcomes and ensuring system functionality meets operational and financial needs.
  • Oversee testing and validation of inventory transactions, modules, and reporting within new finance system to ensure system integrity, compliance, and adherence to corporate governance standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Business and IT teams to align system capabilities with business requirements.
  • Develop training materials and documentation to support successful adoption of the upgraded system.
  • Communicate project progress and risks to leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze and reconcile enterprise inventory in RMS and WMS, maintain SOX controls, and own inventory intelligence by building health reports, leading KPI reviews, and collaborating with partners to ensure accuracy.
  • Lead continuous improvement by identifying gaps, driving system and process enhancements, and supporting new distribution center launches.

qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Data & Analytics, Inventory Control, Inventory/Finance Systems, or Project Management, with demonstrated leadership in complex systems environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven experience leading system testing, implementations, and cross‑functional projects within inventory, finance, or ERP ecosystems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail, with a track record of driving data‑based insights and operational improvements.
  • Advanced problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate risk, troubleshoot system issues, and develop scalable solutions in fast‑moving environments.
  • Deep business knowledge of inventory management and financial processes, including controls, reconciliation, and system integration points.
  • Expert‑level Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency working with large, complex datasets across multiple systems.
  • Hands‑on experience with data analysis tools or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, RMS), including testing, configuration validation and change management.

compensation and benefits package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500 - $135,900 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.
