Reporting to North America, PR Director, the North America, PR Lead is responsible for keeping the wheels moving on a fast and dynamic team, becoming the trusted voice of all things product, reporting and media relations. You are a champion in the way lululemon shows up, driving our communities forward through a relentless commitment to quality.

 

core responsibilities

The North America, PR Lead is a business critical role that is intended to support the North Amercian PR team objectives, including the below key responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of the Americas PR strategy for major product, brand and cultural initiatives
  • Operate with a measurement mindset, creating and maintaining regular coverage reporting and analysis reports for PR leadership team
  • Be a product specialist, overseeing sample orders and product gifting plans for media and brand moments
  • Work with an editorial mindset, bringing media research and news articles to the team for pitching ideas
  • Support the preparation of internal and external media materials, including one-pagers, look books, WWMT and interview/media briefs as well as imagery, both evergreen and campaign specific. 
  • Support media relations execution, including relationship building with select relevant global media and influencers. This work will continue to grow as you grow in role.
  • Be a key player on a talented team that is passionate about extending lululemon’s long-term brand equity and trust with media.

 

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of dynamic experience in the public relations field
  • Formal public relations, communications or journalism education
  • Excellent understanding of media measurement and analysis tools
  • Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills – including understand of CP style and writing for press
  • You know what it means to build authentic and meaningful relationships with media and influencers
  • You are experienced in building and executing communications strategies and the thought of doing everything that you’ve learned a bit differently is energizing
  • Passion, knowledge and involvement in yoga, mindfulness, run and/or fitness/wellness community is an asset

compensation and benefits package 

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $81,500-$107,000 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
