The NA Retail Operations department is responsible for delivering operational solutions that support our North America stores to deliver best in class guest experience and drive business results. 

 

The Retail Product Operations team is responsible for creating and delivering best-in-class product and hemming operational solutions for our stores and guests. Guided by our NA Retail Operations Store Principles, we define in-store product operational processes that bring our product vision to life, drive in season sell through and maximize business results.


a day in the life: what you’ll do

The Program Manager leads high impact workstreams, identifies and prioritizes the 6–24-month product operations strategic roadmap in partnership with cross functional partners that aligns with our Retail Priorities. This role is responsible leading cross-functional programs by aligning stakeholders, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery of strategic workstreams in line with organization priorities within scope and budget.

  • Lead the scoping, planning, risk management, and execution of initiatives, defining program goals and deliverables that align with retail objectives, and acting as a key liaison between teams and stakeholders
  • Develop and design store-ready operational programming, programming & solutions that enable lululemon stores to achieve strategic objectives 
  • Responsible for managing multiple cross functional projects and executing the delivery of urgent solutions to drive key NA business initiatives
  • Distill complex and ambiguous challenges into validated problem statements and lead workshops to drive ideation and journey mapping
  • Sustainment and continuous improvement through measurement, reflection, and iteration of product programs year over year
  • Lead and influence functional and cross-functional teams such as Merchandising, Planning & Allocations, Supply Chain, Fulfillment, Technology, In Store Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Brand Marketing, and vendors (other functions as required) to design and deliver integrated solutions that enable the achievement of organizational goals and objectives 
  • Enroll retail leadership and partners in the vision, strategies and tactics to bring programming to life; fosters deep collaboration between Retail Operations and retail leadership 
  • Work with the Senior Manager, Retail Product Operations on ongoing North American Retail needs, creating quick-turn solutions as needed that maximize business results while minimizing impact on the retail store teams.


qualifications

  • Location: Vancouver  
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills; ability to build relationships and collaborate 
  • Experience leading diverse, large-scale collaborative teams and driving objective-focused facilitation 
  • Experience leading in strategic programs and/or large-scale projects with proven execution skills 
  • Expert in project management tools including Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet 
  • High level of discretion and judgement in the application of operational change principles in an organization 
  • Self-starter, proven results in creating structure and strategy 
  • 3+ years of strong leadership experience in retail and/or experience in functions that support product-focused departments such as merchandising, supply chain, planning, allocation, inventory management, and inventory control etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business operations or related field or equivalent experience in similar field/industry

Compensation and Benefits Package 
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500 - $115,700 CAD annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.

This role is classified as Hybrid under our SSC Workplace Policy: In-person collaboration and connection is important to our culture. Work is performed onsite, minimum 4 days per week.
